Not to hog the complaint thread, but I've just begun my first "ocular" migraine at work, and am now half blind. No pain, just half blind. If it follows the typical pattern, the pain comes later. Took the new drugs but so far nothing.

Gah, I can completely sympathize... we have a corgi too, a rescue actually... is a great dog.

Is terrible what happened to you.

Oh my god, I am sooo sorry. Corgis are so cute and you must be heartbroken.

In related news, my stupid beagle was running in to the road last night and got brought home by the sheriff. I kind of want to run him over myself, the little fucker. I meant the dog, not the sheriff. But now that I mention it...

    The catfish died today.

I am failing so hard at this it is ridiculous. I think I am going to have to take a water sample and some fish corpses to petsmart and demand an explanation.

Update: Turns out it is an incomplete nitrogen cycle. The ph and everything else is "perfect" according to the lady.
Oh man, if the catfish are dying, you might want to rethink owning fish. Catfish can live in a pile of shit filled with aids.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too... but after doing some more research, I have discovered that it is the fault of the idiot "experts" at petsmart for allowing me, a totally avowed fish noob, to add 8 fish to a 10 gallon tank at once after it had only run for 3 days. I spoke with another fish person who told me that I should wait another week and a half and then add one or two fish, whether the tank is then empty due to fishes croaking or still mildly populated in a survival of the fittest scenario.

I honestly never thought I would feel so bad about being a fish murderer. Apparently I have some sort of conscience lurking in there after all.

And yet you have no regrets about raping and murdering that 10 year old in 1990...

I'll be starting my new job 5 weeks after I was told I got it. So I don't start until next week and they need me to continue doing the monthly reports for my current job until they hire someone.... in January. *sigh*
