Went on a date a few years ago to one of my favorite steakhouses in NYC. Corner table. Having a great meal. Halfway through, the table in front of us starts freaking out and the girl sitting there starts screaming. A cockroach is scuttling across the wall. My date looks at it, and shrugging she says, "He can't share my steak."
She was totally cool with it, because what else can you do? 2 free bottles of champagne from the restaurant. We left the place full, drunk, and happy.
Takeaway from the story: There are cockroaches everywhere.
