This girl I know had surgery today, her status on fb is "Out of surgery, everything went well, thank God"

I want to comment and be like: Thank the surgeon who didn't fuck it up, God's hands had nothing to do with it.

I like to tell people who have all this supposed faith that when they're sick, they'd better hope I'm not in charge of where they end up because it'll be in some prayer circle or some shit rather than a hospital. They're never too fond of that idea for some reason. I think they need to pray harder.
