I thought Republicans were the ones who didn't want to work with Democrats? So Republicans get a plan passed in the House but the Senate won't take it up and the White House will veto it even though both want to pass versions similar to this bill?
Hmm.......I need Latrin to explain this one to me.
"similar" is an exquisite word, as we have discussed before. You find the two proposals similar, the White House clearly does not. Who is wrong and who is right?
Also, I would have thought the 4 "defections" in the Republican party would have been interesting as well, but apparently not to Always Bein' Conservative News.
Finally, Terrence, we have also discussed the remarkable differences between an opt-in and an opt-out policy. Especially in light of Congressman Andrew's motion (requiring insurance companies to volunteer the differences between old and new plans), do you think that point is relevant here?

In the sense that a person doing 60 and a person doing 110 are both speeding in a 55, sure.
