Agreed and fuck Iran.

I just prefer we don’t get into direct war with Iran if it can be avoided. Israel vs. Hamas is small potatoes and a regional proxy war at best. Ukraine vs Russia is much the same with perhaps a little more propensity to escalate into a bigger conflict. Israel vs Iran in a hot war, we’re going to be involved. We may have had no military involvement in this preemptive strike, but Israel wouldn’t have done this without our blessing & Iran knows it. Maybe it is possible US troop boots on the ground can be avoided, but I’m not so sure. Iran also has close economic relations with China & Russia, so they could get pulled into this as well.

Anyways, not trying to be a doomsayer & I have no love for Iran, but I really hope to avoid WW3.

Iran isn’t Iraq or Syria or Afghanistan though. They have a large and fairly well equipped army & good air defense. Their Air Force is ancient and that’s always been their Achilles heel. The question is how much does China and Russia want to get involved.

Not anymore. Israel took it out a year ago and in the early hours of this attack, they cleaned up. Over 200 aircraft used in the attacks and zero losses so far.

Iran doesn't have an expeditionary military, they don't have the ability to project over range. To go after Israel, they have to cross Syria and/or Iraq and you can bet if they try, Israel will make the "Highway of Death" look like a kids birthday party. They DO, however, have the proven ability to pay loads of US cash to terrorists all around the world to raise hell care of Obama and Biden which is a real concern for the Middle East, Europe and us here in the US and Canada.

Russia doesn't want to get involved.. they have lost a million fighters to Ukraine (killed or severely injured) and they are still going at it. They have nothing to send to Iran to help them. China doesn't want to piss of the US now that a real leader is in charge.. especially now that they are so close to a trade deal.

If it's only Israel vs. Iran.. this won't last long with Iran losing badly. They need to get to the negotiating table before it's too late.

In completely objective terms Israel will soundly defeat Iran hands down. My heart breaks for all the civilians and their families who get caught in the middle.
