No, he can spare no attention for frivolous praise. Instead, the Chief Executive's thoughts are evenly split between the vanilla ice cream and peace in the Middle East. Those things have a lot in common. Pursuing either of them too quickly is bound to cause headaches, but opportunities will melt away if there is excessive delay.
