No one cared until the media told them to and told them to hate more people and not just by the color of their skin now.

Sadly, I'd say that 75% (and I feel I'm being very generous here, I'm sure it is much higher) only does what the media, be it social or prime time, tells them. They can't think on their own and I really wish I knew how these people survived this long. They remind me of the episode of Malcolm in the Middle when Reese runs away and joins the Army. He starts to believe that if he doesn't do his own thinking and only does what he is told that life is better, but once he hits that point where he no longer has radio contact and his superior is no longer telling him what to do, he freezes and doesn't know how to act for himself.

Ever since the war broke out people are being told to hate one group over the other. History repeats itself when history gets buried/altered/forgotten/not taught. Sadly, WWII took place just over 80 years ago and look at how much has already been forgotten and how history is starting to repeat itself.

Replace Jews with the word "Blacks" or "Women" or "Gays" and that President would have a completely different answer.
