Yes there are some Republicans who don't support Israel (no outspoken Republican politicians I can think of though), but the Republicans who don't support Israel also don't support Hamas or the inhabitants of Gaza.

There ARE Democrats who openly oppose Israel AND support Hamas/Gaza and some of them even sit in the US Congress.

Oh I’m not twisted. Agreed and I’m not letting that go. It’s not going to fly to say that both parties have some detractors of Israel. As you stated, it goes beyond that with many Democrats openly supporting the so-called Palestinian “freedom fighters” and there isn’t an insignificant sum of those progressives saying that.

As if sympathy for a dispossessed people were a bad thing. Israel's Arab neighbors have flat out rejected Palestinians for decades and Palestinians themselves, or rather failed leaders, rejected a peace deal that'd have seen them with their own State. Plenty to show sympathy for.

It's their tendency to support radical leaders and now a terrorist organizations that is the final straw for a lot of people. Hamas has been in power for a decade and a half and has a captive, but supportive populace with which to draw fighters and martyrs. It's this reason that I support Israel's action to finally crush Hamas, it's network, it's ability to lead as a government and hopefully their retaking the Gaza Strip once and for all. The West Bank isn't an ideal situation and Jordan could do more to support carving out additional land they stole during the previous wars or uprisings they supported.

We’re on the same page and my hostility wasn’t directed at you. I just find it sickening that some would support Hamas in this conflict, and we should universally denounce the support or tolerance of terrorism. Israel was viciously attacked and they have an obligation to respond with fierce retaliation to protect their citizens. We’d do the same. I too don’t want civilians to die, but that is an unfortunate consequence of war. Israel at least tries to limit civilian casualties while Hamas is happy to target them.

Was scrolling down Twitter yesterday watching random shit, and as luck would have it, just before I was going to close my browser, I scroll down a little more and up pops a video of some Hamas assholes about to storm a house and murder a family, but not before blasting their dog in the driveway that was happily running out to greet them.





Clueless leftists need to watch raw video of the shit happening instead of the watered down versions the news is showing. Just on the .000001% chance that they might become less retarded after as a result and stop cucking for "Palestine."
