The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane. ~ Marcus Aurelius“It's a beautiful thing, the destruction of words.”
― George Orwell, 1984
“The urge to shout filthy words at the top of his voice was as strong as ever.”

However one feels about it good/bad/indifferent, McCarthy wasn’t willing to let a shutdown happen. He reached across the aisle for a 45 day CR. We can both imagine what Jim Jordan would do. For McCarthy’s efforts, the same Dems that voted with him to pass a CR immediately turned on him to oust him from Speakership. I never like McCarthy. He isn’t conservative enough for me. I respect his adherence to doing what he thought was right with avoiding the shutdown. Tough to say if he understood the risk and this would happen to him, but he should have. Part of me feels bad for him and part of me agrees he deserved his fate. This is where compromising leads you in the House.

Hey, at least you tried to come up with a list instead of just saying "GOOGLE IT YOURSELF!"
So, let's take a look at these "moderate to near right Dems" and look at their voting record in this Congress. Let's just look at the number of times they sided with Republicans and did not vote with their own caucus:
Rep. Tom O’Halleran - No longer in Congress.
Rep. Ed Case - 0
Rep. Stephanie Murphy - No longer in Congress.
Rep. Carolyn Bourdeaux - No longer in Congress.
Rep. Sanford Bishop - 0
Rep. Jim Cooper - No longer in Congress.
Rep. Lou Correa - 0
Rep. Jim Costa - 0
Rep. Charlie Crist - No longer in Congress.
Rep. Henry Cuellar - 1
Rep. Jared Golden - 2
Rep. Vicente Gonzalez - 0
Rep. Josh Gottheimer - 0
Rep. Brad Schneider - 0
Rep. Kurt Schrader - No longer in Congress.
Rep. David Scott - 0
Rep. Mikie Sherrill - 0
Rep. Abigail Spanberger - 0
Rep. Mike Thompson - 0
So... of your big list (and I'm very impressed with your copy/paste efforts) your list of 19 members that Speaker McCarthy should have worked with.. 6 are not even in Congress.. 11 have not voted against their caucus in 2023.. BUT TWO HAVE VOTED WITH THE REPUBLICANS!
So Rep Henry Cuellar voted ONE time against his caucus.. and Jared Golden voted TWO times against his caucus.
Yea, you gave us a list of real renegades of the Democrat Party.....
