I'm sure the seniors whose supplemental payments stop, whose Medicare claims get denied for treatment, and the many many who rely on government funding for research, loans, and benefits will certainly understand Republicans wanting to shut down the government, purely for the sake of saying they did, and not retaliate by voting Democrat in the next election. At least it seems like some of you are trying to convince yourself of all that.

It's like you have zero idea what you are talking about.

    Let's ask ChatGPT :

Q:Will social security payment stop during a government shutdown?
A: During a government shutdown in the United States, essential government services continue to operate, and Social Security payments are considered an essential service.

Q: Will Medicare claims get denied during a government shutdown?
A: During a government shutdown in the United States, essential government services, including Medicare, continue to operate. Therefore, Medicare treatments and services should not be denied or disrupted due to a government shutdown.

Q: Seran is the Retard Champion. Will he get smarter during a government shutdown?
A: Well, he can't possibly get dumber.. can he?

A government shutdown will have 0 impact on the average person. Without the news you wouldn't even know it was shut down.

Imagine thinking an AI that pulls information from non official sources can be counted upon as accurate. Especially when user inputs are obviously incorrect. What part of my post said social security? It didn't, you inferred that incorrectly. As to Medicare, benefits verification stops, which could result in a denial of serviced.

Federal employees at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid would be furloughed just like everyone else during a government shutdown because they're not essential employees. Everything from benefits verifications, enrollments, some claims processing requiring pre-authorization, and physician certifications under Medicare would all be impacted by their being sent home.

It's always you dumb fuggin Republicans who think that government services can somehow continue to function without employees, you need to disabuse yourself of that and realize what percentage of federal employees are non essential. Imagine being a rust belt farmer relying on your loan or claim getting reviewed by someone who isn't there because your Republican representative whose pay continue in a shutdown, sent everyone else home.

Why are democrats trying to shoehorn Ukraine money into the bill to keep the government operating? Ever try asking yourself that?

Of course not, because you're an NPC who's incapable of actual thought.

So basically, you are saying we should get the government out of SS and healthcare because none of those employees are essential? I agree.

If you could just go ahead and give me official sources where it says that due to a government shutdown, supplemental payments stop for senior citizens (what payments are you talking about other than SS?) and that all Medicare treatments will be denied.. I would appreciate it. SPOILER: NO ONE EXPECTS YOU TO PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION SINCE YOU JUST MADE IT UP. Fucking retard.
