Where a sport is headquartered means nothing. Baseball is played all over the world. Doesn’t change anything.

I guess cycling, and any shooting event isn’t a sport as well, because they both use mechanical devices.

I think Gelston's point is barrier to entry for being competitive in these sports.

Like you can't just pick up a gun and be competitive in shooting. Likewise I'm sure you can't just get into a car and start competing in NASCAR, but it's probably not as involved as learning to shoot or being competitive in biking.

But maybe I'm wrong and you need years of experience to drive a car around a course.

Have you seen the way some people drive, even on just a flat straight road? Half the people on the road can't even handle that shit.

Every skill requires time and commitment to become a master at that skill, that doesn't make every skill a sport. The Olympic committee has always been pretty specific about what is considered an athletic sport, car racing will never pass that test.

The purest sport is fighting, such as boxing, wrestling, martial arts..etc. Not fucking car racing.

The purest sport is CHALLENGE PISSING, of which men have a clear advantage.
