I respectfully disagree. The amount of immigrants we take in should match our labor needs & economic policy. Also we only want the best in terms of quality…well vetted non-criminals with skill sets our country needs in order to thrive and folks that are likely to assimilate into our culture and language.
I know you say with good intent to let everybody in, but even just keeping out the criminals…we simply don’t have the resources & funding to support an unlimited number of poor people with no education or employment skills. I’m empathetic to people wanting a better life, but America wouldn’t be America if we just let everybody in.
But everyone is claiming to be fucking short staffed. Obviously we have labor needs.
