The solution by Democrats is to shut down a pipeline and instead have trucks transport this oil from Canada. No more drilling in the US! Let’s just get ALL of our oil from OPEC+. The oil pipeline was shut down by its operator because they couldn't transport oil safely, again due to lack of maintenance. Amazing how it's suddenly Democrats fault these companies are criminally negligent and wrecking the environment, instead of you know, the company that built and maintains the pipeline. Lol.

Absolutely nothing stopping this company from maintaining it's own equipment, they obviously failed to do so.

Oil prices are down $2 a barrel today and Wednesday's EIA report showed a shocking growth of crude stocks in excess of 10m barrels.

Now that oil is down approaching 50% from it's highs following Russia's invasion, the Department of Energy has announced they'll be refilling the SPR using the oil exchange contracts made with companies who took delivery of oil in the past months and agreed to replenish following the price stabilization.

I'm specifically speaking about the Democrats stripping out of the 2020 stimulus bill, the 3 billion for buying oil at $24 a barrel to replenish the SPR... and their reasoning was it was an "oil bailout"... but now, they are all behind the purchasing of oil to fill up the same SPR... only at $80 a barrel... because paying over 3 times as much for the same thing is sound fiscal policy only the Democrats could come up with.
