Maybe after you explain why it had to be repealed if it wasn't binding.

Wait... so you still believe it was a law?

    Seriously??

Every.single.group. of people at sometime was the slave to someone else.

Specifically, how far back do we only go for reparations and anything further back in history is just out of luck?

Not sure about who signed what with regards to "40 acres and a mule" - and not going to take the time to look it up.

I know which political party ended slavery... and which political party supported slavery and birthed the KKK though.

According to Neveragain, the Republicans signed it into law.

Don't ask him specifics on it though... because as usual, he's clueless.

The same Party ended slavery, supported the Civil Rights Act and Woman's Sufferage. The other Party was against all of it.

Literally gave you a link that explained the entire history but, like the man child that you are, you were too lazy to actually read it.

What other group of people have been enslaved in US history?

How long do we have to go before people like you will admit to the injustices that need to be corrected?

Well, let's see there were the Native Americans, some 10,000 plus of whom died on the Trial of Tears alone. They were frequently 'indentured'

Then there were the Chinese who worked on the Transcontinental Railroad and were paid a pittance and abused thoroughly.

Really there's been several instances of slavery or indentured servitude in the history of the United States all of whom have already received reparations of some form or another. The current obsession with evening the scale is wanting to tip it so far in the direction of minorities that the likelihood of it ever coming to fruition is likely nill.

Oh yeah, Democrats' war on American Indians. Thanks for the reminder that Democrats loved to kill American Indians when they weren't busy enslaving black people.

lol what a stupid fucking argument.

my political party is better than yours because 100+ years ago your party did this thing, so that accurately reflects what they stand for today.

it's almost as if politics change with time, or something.
