Coming out of 2016 you'd think the one thing that the Democrats would have learned was that they've lost the moment they turtled, the moment they denied without rebuttal, where they relied on a moderator to save them and keep decorum.

Attack. Call the President a coward, call him a liar, a thief, a criminal or a human cheeto. Sink to the level of your opponent and you'll win. Taking the high road does nothing but make you a loser.

Biden by and far lost on sounding presidential. Soft spoken, plaintive, he was a Nance. Because telling Trump to be quiet is effective? Yelling at him would be effective? What exactly are you supposed to do when someone starts talking over you and doesn't respect your time? Trump has no respect, that's all I saw throughout all of Trump's interruptions. Being presidential isn't being disrespectful... quite the opposite. A debate is supposed to be a discussion between the participants. Biden was more than happy to talk directly to the camera and refer to Trump in the third person because he's too senile to have a discussion with a live person who isn't kissing his ass. Why do you want to watch a couple of old people just give campaign ads all day?

Yeah that's because he just ignored it when Biden was interrupting Trump, but to be fair that's because Trump (like most of America) had enough resolve to ignore Biden like the pissant that he is, whereas Biden was clearly rattled almost every time Trump interrupted him which was why Wallace had to come to his rescue.
