What did he say that was biased?

He seems to want to pin the blame for the shootings on both the teen and the violent felons.

He’s a seventeen-year-old out of shape LARPer now into the shit so deep he cannot even see his way out anymore. If he could walk and chew gum at the same time, the incident could have ended with only one fatality.

The dude is blaming the kid for falling (which from the video it sure looks like he was pushed) for why there were more fatalities and blames it in part on him being out of shape. There is so much victim blaming going on I feel like I'm watching a bunch of old white men in the 1940's explain why they blame the woman for why she got raped.

At least the dude is recognizing the teen acted in self defense (although he also tries to give his attackers the benefit of the doubt) and recognizes his attackers were all violent felons. But he tries to juxtapose his attacker's violent pasts by pointing out the teen's past which is...he's a Trump supporter who wants to be a police officer some day. Because I guess being a Trump supporter is on the same level as a child rapist.

If the dude just said everyone involved was stupid then I would agree. I'm not saying it was smart for a teen to insert himself into that situation, and certainly all of his attackers were well beyond stupid and entered violent criminal territory. But being stupid doesn't mean you deserve to have your life threatened by violent criminals and certainly doesn't mean you're in the wrong for defending yourself from said violent criminals. It's certainly not this teen's fault for being "out of shape" and "tripping and falling" for why multiple people decided to attack him with blunt objects and a firearm.

Look at the number of different ways he refers to Rittenhouse and then to the other people involved. It's clear he's a left winger from the very beginning and I've never read anything from bullshido.com before.

And the the three who got shot as convicts, fellons, and disingenuous, and reserves the most scorn for the guy who fired his gun in the air. Which ones are the liberals he's siding with? His mom? That's halfway through the piece of trash writing. It's clear that this "author" has a bias and it's also clear you didn't pick up on it because it mirrors your own and you aren't smart enough to read something and know you are being pushed to believe the situation one way.

You legitimately believe this is an unbiased accounting of events... and that is more of a knock against your reading/comprehending ability than it is the "authors".. because at least the "author" did his job.. which was to make you believe it was unbiased... and you really did. Probably still do.

I took the time to read the piece, and I support the perspective that he railed on the youth using words and accusative assumptions I do not appreciate. I also hold that he railed on others as well and in the same vein if not to the same numeric quantity. I found his line that we were so busy winning the arguments that we forgot to solve the problem to be incredibly accurate and self-prophetic.

But I took most of the man-child commentary to be more targeted towards the youth's upbringing and a commentary on our collective social posture today. Not all, certainly. But enough so that I paused to ask myself:

Should any child be permitted, supported or even encouraged to do this shit?

Is this to become the right of passage for our nation - go find someone who differs in political, religious or ethical belief and murder him or her to be considered an adult?

If any of us truly answer yes to either or both of those questions, I would have to say the youth is not the problem.
