And then you have the mess around your dumpster that you have to have someone clean up everyday.

There needs to be a way that restaurants can give away food that would otherwise be thrown away without having them worry about the liability of someone getting sick.

That's not what I said.

I said most companies do not want to take the risk of giving away food that they made that is out of their control and could become contaminated.. and somehow they would be responsible for any people that got sick from it.

The liability of a lawsuit is why most food establishments will not give their food away and instead dispose of it.
