Just got back from driving my dad across country. He's falling apart physically, his artificial knee is failing, he's gaining weight and getting inactive, his wife is convinced he isn't eating enough and is trying to shovel food into his face. He's going to sell the Florida house, and move back to Kansas full time. I've agreed to move in with them after Christmas and help them with the move. It's just a step towards moving in with them full time and and providing elder care for them.

I'm trying to find a polite way of saying "Don't worry, I'll move in and care for you until you die."

Yea, that sucks man. My father is getting up there in age so every conversation we have is about a friend/relative dying and him saying he just wants to make it to 2020 for his 50th wedding anniversary.

First day of snow where I live and people are still passing me by in the oncoming lane doing the speed limit or greater. Within 2 miles of where I live I saw a van in a ditch and another area where a car clearly ran off the road.

This dude that sits next to me at work has been wearing like 48 bottles of cologne every day for the past week. Shit hits you in the face as soon as he walks in and murders noses all day. Today I got this fucked up taste on my tongue just from breathing this shit in. Another dude that sits like 20 feet away from me is getting killed by it too, it's that bad.

It's like the cologne version of an old lady at a bingo hall.
