Thread: Rogue Archer (Hunting)

  1. Default Rogue Archer (Hunting)

I see alot of people ask what they should hunt...here's what I recommend/what I hunted.

    1-3 Kobolds
    3-4 Hobgoblins
    5-7 Kobold Sheperds
    8-9 Werebears (undead)
10-11 Wraiths (undead - They rarely if ever can find you in your hiding spot, and they're pretty weak)
12-14 I went to River's Rest and hunted Large Ogres (they're wealthy for their age - I would average 10k a hunt and they could NEVER find me from my hiding)

Right now I'm 14 and have been hunting Fire Guardians - but I'm currently in Ta'Vaalor looking for some new critters to pick on. I really suggest if you're around 12-15 to hunt Large Ogres for the wealth...just be careful about getting hit.

Wraiths are extremely "sniffy". They will consistently pull a legend rogue doubled in hiding out of hiding, maybe you're talking about something else?

PS: Not the threadjack, but what real advantage does a rogue archer have over a ranger? I guess they can pick, but that seems to be about it.

(wrathbringer78) I think that's it. Viril is one big obnoxious ambient script.

Any undead and most animals aren't going to let you hiding.

The guild (most of the skills are useless for an archer...but hey, gambits), they can double ambush and triple perception.

They'll never, however, have as big an AS or as small an RT as a ranger archer.
    Space for rent, inquire within.

Gambits are great for rogue archers... as well as the cheaper CM costs... as well as the additional redux.

I just prefer being a rogue. I don't much like spell casters.

And I am talking about wraiths...they're never able to find me.

Hunt shelfae from 5 to 15. They have a bolt DS of like 5.

Shelfae have always been awesome.... If I were I'd train in first aid and go hunt stags and brindlecats in illistim. Or if you come back to the landing try warcats.
