    Exclamation Satanic Statue Destroyed in Iowa

    The Satanic Temple of Iowa put up a holiday display in the Iowa capitol building, igniting outrage from religious groups and fierce debate over free speech, but state officials claim the display followed all regulations and have allowed it to remain in place.

    The Satanic Temple's display inside the Iowa State Capitol was destroyed on Thursday, according to police.

    A spokesperson for the Iowa State Police told Fox News Digital that Michael Cassidy, 35, was arrested after allegedly tearing down the Iowa Satanic Temple’s Baphomet display.

    "It was extremely anti-Christian," Cassidy told Fox News Digital when asked why he tore the statue down.

    Cassidy previously ran an unsuccessful campaign in 2022 to unseat Rep. Michael Guest, R-Miss.


    Two things. First, why was a Mississippi Congressional candidate in Iowa tearing down their statues? Second, although there is no video of the incident in Iowa, I imagine it went something like this..

    There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen.

    DeSanctimonious announced he will contribute to the legal defense of the guy who beheaded Baphomet.

    Gov. Ron DeSantis is weighing in on destruction of an occult holiday installation at the Iowa State Capitol, vowing assistance to a “Christian veteran” who beheaded the Satanic Temple’s Baphomet display.

    “Satan has no place in our society and should not be recognized as a ‘religion’ by the federal government. I’ll chip in to contribute to this veteran’s legal defense fund. Good prevails over evil — that’s the American spirit,” DeSantis posted to X.
