I disagree. I can't give you any specific data, but I know 2 gay couples that adopted 3 troubled children and all 3 went on to lead very successful lives.

I know, anecdotal evidence and all... but I just saw the transformation in these kids when they were first adopted and where they are today.

And in one of these children, the couple probably saved his life.
