All this chicken little bullshit is just emotional outrage.

IF this holds out and Roe v Wade is overturned, nothing will really change.

This should have been left in the hands of the states anyway.. and most states will still let you get an abortion.

Democrats were just handed a gift before the mid-terms. This will draw more moderates to their side and help them to forget about the last two years of incompetence, as now they will play on those emotional strings and market their party as champions of “women’s rights”.

We’ll see the final ruling in time but so far I agree with the supposed decision. It should be left to the states and legislature to decide. Nothing really changes, but as mentioned the emotionally driven and less critical thinking people are going to flip their shit.

I do fear this is going to negatively impact Republicans ahead of mid-terms as now it’s going to unify and rally the left to vote. Unfortunate timing. I hope I’m wrong.

Oh who am I kidding? The media and Democrats will praise them for being heroes.

The notion of personal gun ownership as a constitutional right was explicitly denied by SCOTUS until the Heller case in 2008. And SCOTUS didn't decide that the 2nd Amendment applied to states and localities until 2010 in the McDonald case. There were a lot of conservative legal minds that lambasted Heller in particular for reaffirming the right to privacy that has guaranteed a right to an abortion since Roe.

Those cases overturned centuries of precedent. The earliest 2nd Amendment cases made it clear that it only applied to Congress and only in situations involving formal militia. And they were all adamant that the 2nd Amendment did not confer a right to individual gun ownership- it simply restrained Congress from creating certain restrictions.
    Oh, Hey. It's Time4killingchildren.

I actually disagree. The republicans started garnering more Democrat votes in the 80's and 90's when the move against RvW started taking hold.

That’s the reason for the “leak.”

November is going to be very bad for Dems so they are doing everything they can to tile up their base and appeal to moderates.

You can read the draft here. It's not a guarantee of the final ruling, but this is where we are headed: decades into the past.
You could have left out the word "critical" and you still would have been 100% correct.

T4F basically said murder is ok if it is to end poverty. I guess she’d prefer poor people were all dead.

And I’ve always maintained that abortion to protect the mothers life should remain a choice. As well as after rape.
