The White House Press Secretary on Trump's push to reopen schools: "The science should not stand in the way of this."

After this out of context tweet got plenty of exposure in the form of likes, retweets, and views, he then followed this up with a tweet more context:

McEnany went on to say "the science is on our side here."

Yes. The full answer was: "The science should not stand in the way of this...the science is very clear on this...the science is on our side here."

In other words the science says reopening schools is safe, hence why the science should not stand in the way of reopening schools.

Remember science? That thing Democrats pretended to give a single shit about when they were pushing for mass lockdowns and forcing everyone to lose their jobs? Suddenly they don't care when the science says it's safe to reopen schools.

Yeah my bad, I shouldn't have phrased it as the "full" answer, but I did use ellipses (well the Trump War room tweet I copy and pasted it from did anyways) to show the important parts of the answer.

Either way Acosta was either being a lying sack of shit with his original tweet or he had to tweet his outrage the moment he heard "The science should not stand in the way of this" without waiting to hear her full answer.
