Of course its about climate. Its about sustainability and living in harmony with our environment so we can continue to live on this planet as comfortably as we can. How we do it will help us understand how to do it on other planets or celestial bodies we want to inhabit.

But thats not the only thing we need to fix. If we can fix things we should. And if we can fix a lot of things all at once why wouldn't we?

The Green New Deal is about climate and moving towards a sustainable future Chakrabarti's comment notwithstanding. His goal, and AOC's, is still a goal we need to strive for, and attaching it to finding sustainable energy, which means we need to tackle the WHOLE system, fits right in.

Environment has been, still is, and will always be an important issue we all need to face. Wealth inequality has been, still is, and well always be an issue too.

I am not outraged by this at all. I'm surprised anyone would think I would be considering I've been consistent on my advocacy for better integration with the environment and income inequality.
