If you have 100 employees each working 60 hours that's 6000 man hours (sorry, Berkley! "people" hours) every week. If you cut back their hours to 40 hours and don't hire anymore workers that means they are now at 4000 people hours, a 33% drop. Are we to believe Sanders' campaign is just gonna be like "Eh! No problem!" or are they going to demand each worker works 33% harder? Spoiler: It's the latter.
So rather than paying each employee more like Sanders demands everyone else does what happened? He left everyone's pay the exact same and just told them all to worker harder for the same pay.
