The ironic thing is that the same statute that they are trying to nail trump on with that hag is also what just forced P Diddler to flee the country.

    He did?

Every time you charge him with some trumped up charges, he surges in the poll.

He's playing the long game. That prize is in November.

You're playing a 1 player version of tic/tac/toe and still losing.

This is a criminal case. Welcome to the new world of the burden of proof being beyond a reasonable doubt by a jury of peers. Your statement is false.

On top of that, this case has so many legal challenges & blunders that it may well get thrown out before a trial starts. It is beyond the statute of limitations and Alvin Braggs turned this from a misdemeanor to a felony. The prior DA did not pursue an indictment for good reasons. You guys are really stretching with this one…. But hey, get yourself all psyched up just to be once again let down.

That's a good point. If Trump is convicted, it will mean he for sure did it.

    The Gross Up.

If you lend me $100 and I repay you $100 next week, then your receipt of the $100 is not taxable income. But if, instead of calling the $100 from me a loan repayment, we call it a salary payment, then you will have to pay taxes on it. If your tax rate is 40%, you will have just $60 left after payment of your taxes. For you to have $100 after you pay your taxes, I would have to pay you $166.67.

It would be exceedingly dumb business -- not to mention a misstatement of what really happened -- for me to pay you $166.67 when I owed you only $100. It would be so dumb, in fact, that it would make people suspicious, since it is a common money laundering tactic, sometimes called a "gross up."

That's the tactic that Trump used to repay Michael Cohen for the hush money payment that Cohen made to Stormy Daniels on Trump's behalf. And that's how Trump reported it on his financial statements. How will he explain it in his criminal trial starting April 15?

Trump doesn’t have to explain anything. His attorneys merely need to expose the many holes & fallacies in this case. It’s the burden of the state to prove to a jury that beyond any reasonable doubt that Trump committed a crime. Good luck with that.

Never mind that there is a certified affidavit from Cohen stating he was never reimbursed for the payments. And also a certified affidavit from Stormy Daniels stating that there was never an affair with Trump. Also, were now finding out that it was Cohen and Daniels who had the affair...

    But go on...

That would be a surprising twist! Where did you hear it? Does it strike you as likely that Stormy Daniels would have an affair with Michael Cohen?

She's a porn star. She would have an affair with anyone who could pay her fee.

Cohen was a lawyer and once had a net worth of 100 million dollars.
