And while the US stayed isolated massive, aggressive empires were formed that killed millions and caused a massive war that eventually pulled us in. That is a proven failure of isolation. Don’t be dense.

That's the reality of the military forces of autocrats, their solders are often demoralized or outright resistant to their orders. This coupled with the shit show of Russian supply lines for food and fuel is why Ukraine has held out so long.
