The data is there to compare the first year in Afghanistan costs compared to the first less than a year in Ukraine costs, would that make you feel better? Are you familiar with using known datasets to extrapolate and predict for other (usually smaller) datasets?Quote:

The problem is, Putin won’t just want a little piece of territory, he wants everything he “annexed” and these people want zero to do with Russia. If you are willing to give a little, Putin will demand it all.
This is an all or nothing for Putin. He won’t stop until he gets everything he wants, and when he does get it, he’ll go and try to get more.
