I'm curious what sort of evidence will come out in tomorrows session with Cohen. Feels like the last ditch effort where his words shouldn't carry much meaning.
My prediction: Cohen says a lot, has no evidence to back it up, and it all blows over.
Today's reports have me at least curious. Claiming he has actual evidence for his claims, but im highly skeptical. I'm anti-trump but also realistic.
So.. the Democrats have 3 hearings with Cohen over the next 3 days.. this guy has admitting to lying to Congress in the past, has been disbarred and basically the textbook definition of scumbag lawyer...
And the Democrats are salivating over what he can tell them....
Sure looks that way. I'm more interested in if he's got actual proof of anything because his words don't mean anything. Not sure what could really be used as proof, but im curious at best
Considering Trump used Cohen to lie for him for over a decade his word has absolutely no meaning. However if he has hard evidence like documents or recordings, or his testimony corroborates with others.. then it has meaning. And from what we know the feds investigating found his evidence and testimony worth listening to.
Also LOL at this dumbass in Florida, representative Matt Gaetz making threats to Cohen on Twitter, hope he has a good lawyer because he's going to need it.
Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer, plans to offer up a document to lawmakers that he claims will show the president engaged in criminal conduct related to a hush-money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels, according to a person familiar with his planned congressional testimony.

Annonymous sources mean jack shit.
Hey GS friends, haven’t followed this thread at all but always see it on my thread.. just want you all to know my US friend and I just dominate two asshole Russians at beer pong at a German pub. It was complete political dominance at its finest. They were talking shit about how great Putin is and doing some bear roar shit so we knew we had to put them to shame.
All this to say, another fine day for American diplomacy. You’re welcome.

Let's look at his record...
January 2018 - he invited Chuck Johnson, the Holocaust denier to be his guest at the inauguration.
Gaetz said that he had no "pre-existing" relationship with Johnson and only invited him to attend when Johnson showed up at his office, providing him the ticket which Gaetz's father could not use due to his bronchitis. According to Johnson, he was invited by several members of Congress but “took Gaetz’s invitation” because “he’s into stuff on the issues that I care about.” Johnson had previously raised money for the neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer.
In 2008, Gaetz was arrested for a DUI as he was driving back from the Swamp, a nightclub on Okaloosa Island, Florida. While he was arrested and refused to take a breathalyzer test, "he didn't have his license suspended for a year when he refused the breath test—as Florida law dictates. And he didn't have that refusal used against him in a criminal proceeding." Charges against him were dismissed despite the fact that the police reported that "Gaetz fumbled for his license and registration, his eyes were watery and bloodshot, and he swayed and staggered when he got out of the car." Gaetz has cited the dropped charges as proof that he was innocent.
Between 1999 and 2014, Gaetz received 16 speeding tickets in Florida.
So all around douche for sure. He's facing disbarment over his tweet and all of his Twitter accounts have been banned.
Edit - Looks like Twitter let his main account back on it's platform.
Gaetz says he wasn't witness tampering he was "witness testing."
Has this ever heated up?
It's been heating up ever since Trump fired Comey for investigating Russia.
Here's the SCO on the veracity of Cohen's testimony.

Noted pedophile protector Gym Jordan is ranting about the Clintons. Not even 30 minutes in and I'm already close to winning bingo.
When Mueller finally wraps up this investigation 16 years from now, we're finally going to know for sure about collusion. Well, most people will. Democrats will continue investigating because THERE JUST HAS TO BE SOMETHING DAMMIT!!!!111
Are these the same investigators that found his testimony in front of Congress not to be credible and ended up charging him with lying?
Weird how before, Democrats were “we can’t believe a word Cohen says” and now, because he’s against Trump, he should be believed?
This is a farce, plain and simple. Nothing but a political grandstand by the Democrats.
1. So you're saying federal investigators know when Cohen is telling the truth and when he's lying? I don't think anyone is disputing that.
2. No one is disputing Cohen a liar. That's a known fact. Again, it's all about what evidence he can provide and what he can corroborate, which again, has been verified by federal investigators.
3. It's only a farce to you because your boy Trump is being exposed for the fraud that he is. I'm loving your meltdown though, please don't stop.
Cohen is above all else: a self serving, lying piece of shit. He lied before and there is nothing collaborative in his testimony today except his personal testimony. I realize that time4fun told you that in itself is “evidence”, but it’s not.
He just said that his proof that Trump is a racist is the low number of blacks in his administration. That’s literally the proof he offered.
Representative Lynch is correct, Republicans aren't worried about Cohen lying, they're worried about Cohen telling the truth.
As a reminder, ad hominem is one of the classic logical fallacies for a reason.
So focus on the things Cohen has actually said. If he's really such a liar, then it shouldn't be hard to poke holes in his testimony, right?
Higgins: Why didn't you turn these boxes over to the investigators?
Cohen: These are the boxes that they returned to me.
Higgings: Why didn't you turn them over to the investigators!!!111
Cohen: ......
:2beers: We've moved off you're retarded to just you're stupid. I can dig that!
Meadows is particularly unhinged today.
Gall bladder
This circus is EXACTLY how I imagine testimony to this forum would be like.
We really need term limits.
Best comment ever- "I didn't know who you [Michael Cohen] were until today"
Not better than Michael Cohen, under oath (like that matters...) said it was his idea for Trump to run for President and he initiated his Presidential run back in 2011.
And this is the best witness you have... I’m embarrassed for your side at this point...
This, plus your “New Green Deal”, your embrace of socialism and your militant stance on abortion is only helping Trump get re-elected.
You are causing this once again.
Grats!
Trump has zero chance of getting elected again.
The only thing this testimony is doing is dragging out the shit show.
The one odd thing to all of this is Cohen's proof of payment from the president isn't really proof. But then, you've also got his lawyer (Guiliani) admitting that payment was made to Cohen for the stormy Daniels payments.
Nothing today is actual proof and will just continue to drag this whole show on.
I said back in 2016 that if the DNC gave the nomination to Hillary then Trump would win and that's precisely what happened. Trump repeating that victory in 2020 just isn't going to happen. The Democrats are united, the independents are turned off of Trump, and the Republican base is fracturing more and more every day. The criminal investigations against Trump are mounting and he's already run out of political capital. He's done he just won't admit it. Republicans best hope and only hope of winning in 2020 is to line up behind Pence now before it's too late.
The only grasping here is your lame and impotent trolling. Get a new hobby already.
Sort of. He brought evidence that Trump continued to break the law while in office, he confirmed that Trump did know about the Stormy Daniels payment, and that Trump knew about Roger Stone's contacts with Assange. Also that Trump really did know about the Trump Tower meeting.
He also indicated that there is another investigation about something important, but I'm totally blanking on what it was now because I've been multitasking through this whole thing.
For the 10,000th time, everyone here thinks you're a retard and tells you so except t4f, and yet you continue to post shit here for what reason? No one responds to your posts except to make fun of them and tell you how retarded you are. Why would you keep doing this? Why don't you go find a forum dedicated to politics where maybe your retardation doesn't stick out as much since there would be other retards like yourself there that enjoy grasping at straws, anonymous sources and fake news to support your desperately wanted narrative? Or are you just seriously that retarded? Serious question.
So far quite a few claims in the Dossier have held up actually.
1) That there have been numerous contacts between the Russians and the Trump Campaign
2) That the Russians were behind the email hacks
3) That the Russians were engaged in a broad attack on the US election intending to get Trump elected
4) That Trump had real estate deals in Moscow
5) Michael Flynn had a paid trip (By the Russian government) to Moscow in 2015
6) Carter Page met with Rosneft
So you were saying?
I give everyone pos rep, it's all my fault.
Also, my pos rep is grey, so... there's that.
I also ask people to be my friend, cause friends are important. PB still hasn't responded though.
Cohen’s career is over, the only hope he has for making money once out of prison is writing a book and doing the talk show circuit about how he fought the racist Trump. And here is Androidpk and time4fun and the joker Democrats in Congress acting like this guy isn’t a complete snake.
If I had to go to prison for something, the way Cohen is doing it is how I'd like it to be. You know, summer camp for 3 years, then multi-million deals for ghost written books, whoring it up on tv and making the rounds in hollywood. I believe he'll get out in less than 1 year, as well.
He's a douche, but he's a lawyer... so you kind of expect that.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz: How can we corroborate what you're saying?
Cohen: I don't know.
That is literally all I have read/heard about the so called "testimony" and that's enough for me already.
Far left goons like Androidpk and time4fun circa 2017: Michael Cohen is a liar, can't be trusted, and deserves to be in prison!
Michael Cohen sentenced to prison time for literally lying before Congress.
Far left goons like Androidpk and time4fun circa 2019: Michael Cohen is very honest and a credible witness before congress. We should believe everything he says.
This is why Androidpk stripped himself of his humanity, easier to feel zero shame that way when you literally contradict yourself in a span of just 2 years.
time4fun just suffers from some severe mental deficiencies and the far left attracts people such as that. But Androidpk went running headfirst into this lifestyle because it appealed to his sociopathic behavior.
No more than Jeffords (I think?) feels about intentionally misrepresenting the disclosure form Cohen filled out in order to make him look like he was up there lying.
Also, I love how we got even more evidence of Trump using his private foundation as a personal slush fund, and there's been not a single peep from the right-wingers who foamed at the mouth for years over the Clinton Foundation.
Oh wait, one more bit of information I just read about this absurd testimony. Cohen literally said Trump did NOT instruct him to lie to Congress, meaning you can't get Trump for obstruction of justice on that and even the liar Cohen admits he lied all on his own. So why wouldn't he be here lying now to secure a book deal for when he is out of prison?
The far left looks towards actual liars as heroes now. First it was Chief Bullshit Nathan Phillips who was at least smart enough not to lie to the police so he didn't face any legal trouble. Then it was now arrested for lying Jussie Smollett. And now it's actual convicted liar, for lying to congress no less, as their latest hero as he gives testimony...before congress...in which he admitted he lied to congress before on his own volition.
This is like a comedy sketch except the people in the comedy sketch doesn't realize everyone is laughing AT them and not with them.
Here is every comment I've ever made in 2018 and 2019 regarding Cohen's trustworthiness.
This is why people don't take tgo seriously. He just spouts random bullshit that isn't even remotely true, and when it's pointed out that he's blatantly fabricating stuff he continues to rant and rave like Alex Jones on PCP.
On second thought, maybe we all SHOULD listen to Cohen.
At one point Cohen said Trump told him that he never expected to win and become president. So according to the far left's latest hero, Trump said he never expected to win. Well gosh, so much for that whole Trump/Russia collusion thing huh. There is no "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" if you never expected to win.
Androidpk, time4fun, just fess up. You aren't even paying attention to the actual testimony, or at least not understanding it. You're just listening for keywords such as "racist", "sexist", "bigot", in regards to Trump and like a good trained dog you salivate and cheer when he does. Just admit it. You'll feel better.
Androidpk really trying to convince us that we don't know he likes to have his cake and eat it too.
"But...but I said Cohen is a liar!!!!!" Yet here you are hanging onto his every word.
"But...but if his testimony matches up with the testimony of others..."
Hey that's a great moral stand to take there, Androidpk. So tell me, why aren't you in here telling time4fun what a lying sack of shit Cohen is considering no one else is in the room with Cohen to back up what he's saying? When a DEMOCRAT asked Cohen how can they corroborate what he's saying Cohen's answer was literally "I don't know." According to YOUR OWN LOGIC that means Cohen is not to be trusted and we can all dismiss everything he says until someone else figures out how to corroborate his testimony.
But talk like that doesn't get you another free night on time4fun's couch does it? Gotta play both angles to both appease time4fun and yourself in trying to convince yourself that you're still a centrist. What a joke of a "man" you are.
Seems like Don Jr also has the reading comprehension of a toddler
https://i.imgur.com/D1apgOz.png
Cohen testified that he has NO evidence to provide that Trump colluded with Russia? So why is this testimony even going on? To give people such as Androidpk and time4fun a chubby when they hear him refer to Trump as a racist and a bigot?
Oh no wait, Androidpk doesn't believe anything Cohen says so you don't believe that Trump is actually a racist white supremacist, right Androidpk?
Cohen when asked directly how Congress can corroborate his testimony: "I don't know."
Cohen says Trump never instructed him to lie before Congress.
Cohen says Trump didn't expect to win the election thus destroying the entire Trump/Russia collusion theory.
Cohen literally states he can provide no evidence that Trump colluded with Russia.
Just tell me what testimony he provided today that has been corroborate by other witnesses because according to YOUR OWN WORDS that's the only way you'll believe anything he says. Because so far this sounds like nothing but a political circus to get the Democrats out of the headlines lately and Trump back into the headlines.
Don Jr. probably just liked the parts where the guy says Cohen used to have so much bravado and now basically has nothing left.
It's kind of bullshit logic that because someone sounds defeated it means they have no reason to lie anymore. Cohen has all of the reasons in the world right now to lie about Trump because being anti-Trump in the year of 2019 is how you get big future book deals and TV talk show invites. You don't get that shit by defending Trump.
It's the same bullshit logic the left tried to pull in saying Ford had no reason to lie about Kavanaugh. The left always pulls out this "no reason to lie" card when the person in question sounds like a complete liar, or in this case the guy is actually a convicted liar.
Actually there has been zero concrete evidence of any wrongdoing. The Clinton Foundation fervor began with a book that a political/business partner of Steve Bannon wrote for the 2016 election.
It's sort of fascinating how none of the investigations into Clinton have resulted in any charges, but all of the investigations into Trump and his dealings have.
It's almost like you're really bad at being able to differentiate between actual criminals and imaginary ones.
Found a picture of Androidpk and time4fun together:
https://i.redd.it/ksmiuovx65j21.jpg
Not true at all, there's still nothing directly implicating the president.
The line of questioning towards the end of today's hearing opened up the door for more people to be called to testify, it also opened up probable cause for financial crimes. Seems like an unnecessary step when the southern district of New York is already pushing those crimes heavily
So you go from "I'd be cautious about trusting his word as well. But if his testimony matches up with the testimony of others" to "Wellllllllll.....as long as federal investigators found parts of Cohen's testimony credible then surely we can believe everything he says!"
Can't possibly imagine why earlier I said you're just trying to sound like a centrist by playing both sides here, but in just a matter of hours you can't help it and completely contradict yourself.
I keep having to correct myself on this- I always say "DoJ won't indict a sitting President", but actually that's not true. The DoJ policy still allows for sealed indictments (I know you already know this, btw). So it's more accurate to say the DoJ won't prosecute a sitting US President.
Not that it's a huge difference rhetorically, but it's becoming a personal pet peeve of mine that I keep saying the DoJ won't indict a sitting President.
Filling them under seal isn't against the policy. It's actually outlined in at least one DoJ memo on the subject. And I agree- there is a real chance they've already filled some under seal as I believe the statute of limitations on the election fraud may expire before he leaves office.
Ultimately, though, SDNY still can't violate DoJ guidelines- even if they want to- those guidelines are legally binding. Barr would have to sign off on a prosecution, and that just doesn't seem likely.
“I’m thoroughly convinced the SDNY will make its own evaluation. They will not say that’s a department policy,” Jon Sale, a former Watergate and Southern District prosecutor, who is close with former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani who is now Trump's lawyer, told Politico in a story published Monday. “They’re obviously looking at the president, and I wouldn’t rule out that they could decide you can indict a sitting president,” he said.
Nick Akerman, who also worked on the Watergate prosecution team and was formerly a Southern District assistant attorney, characterized the investigation as very different from the one led by Mueller.
“When you combine their experience with the traditional independence of the Southern District and the reputation it has, this is like another Mueller investigation going on,” he said.
To combat Mueller’s inquiry, Trump and his legal advisers have often relied on executive privilege to protect him from indictment. But that doesn’t work with the Southern District of New York investigation, as it is looking into possible crimes outside Trump’s tenure as president.
https://www.newsweek.com/new-york-in...sident-1334917
Former AG Eric Holder also thinks a sitting POTUS can be indicted.
Guess we'll find out in the next year or so.
Yeah this is all wishful thinking and indulging in fun what-ifs.
To be clear, he can almost assuredly be indicted on violations of state law. But on Federal law, DoJ policy is binding. You'd need someone to first take DoJ to Court on their policy. And it's not really clear who, aside from maybe Mueller, would actually have standing for that.
Edited to add- remember, even if SDNY went rogue and secured indictments, DoJ could pull out of the case. Though, in fairness, they might not be willing to do it, given how that would look to the American people.
The thing I will never understand is how people can continue to knee-jerk defend him when there is SO much evidence of him having committed multiple crimes and having zero ethical boundaries.
Everyone who has ever worked with the man who doesn't currently rely on him for their job has made it clear what kind of person he is. He's in court over pay-to-play and slush fund issues with his personal foundation, he's being investigated for obstruction of justice (and by the way- that's not going to go well for him), his inaugural committee is under investigation for receiving improper foreign donations (among other things), his campaign is under investigation for colluding with a foreign power, and his business is under investigation for a pretty impressive number of things.
He lies every single day. His falsehoods as President hit the thousands by the end of his first year- something that has no parallel in modern US Presidential history.
And yet, these bizarre people keep rushing up to defend him. They're willing to believe that the American media is making up things about him (even though the vast majority of what they've been saying has turned out to be true), that there's some deep state cabal in his own DoJ that's trying to take him down for reasons that remain incredibly unclear, that the Courts are full of enemies who are just ruling against him out of spite.....basically that the entire universe is evil and petty and wrong just so they can keep claiming this one person with an incredibly sordid history of lies, ethical breaches, and straight up felonies is magically innocent for the first time in his life.
This is the real Trump Derangement Syndrome. The willingness to embrace corruption, criminality, and conspiracy theories over the obvious truths and facts before them.
Pick a politician, any politician, and I will provide you similar narrative.
Republicans rushing to jump on grenades for Trump seem to forget that grenades explode. This is not going to end well for any of his die hard supporters.
There's really no comparison. We've never had anything like this at the Presidential level, at least not in modern US politics.
My biggest beef with this comment is that it serves to normalize something that should NEVER be normalized. That's the source of the real and lasting damage to our country.
You retards keep forgetting that despite any of Trump's bullshit, he's still 4832094273904x better than anyone the left is putting forward.
So it's your party's own fault for sucking so tremendously.
You and idiots like you are why we have Trump.
They're kind of trapped right now. Their constituents are being fed a regular diet of politically-motivated misinformation from conservative media, and they'll punish any elected official who bucks Trump. But, as you point out, they're jumping on a grenade that will go off. Right now they're just trying to angle themselves to be able to jump at the right moment if need be. Some will manage, others won't.
But we saw this all play out yesterday during the hearing. Yes the Republican Reps were vehement and passionate about their disdain for Michael Cohen. But most of them had nothing to say in terms of actually defending Trump. In fact, the 1 or 2 times one of them actually did try to defend him, they were only defending things that were unrelated to his legal jeopardy.
Same with the national emergency and government shutdown debacles- Republicans in Congress, by and large, had very little to say in Trump's defense. Most of them were just ducking the press as best they could.
There's been a lot of that going on for a while now. The few Congressional Republicans who are willing to jump to his defense get all of the media attention, but you can almost count them on one hand.
I think that's why so many Republicans at the hearing yesterday were giving their time to Jordan, let him take all the heat for defending Trump.
Record low unemployment numbers across the board and a solid economy has been extremely painful, that is, if you're a person that wants to see America fail like most far-left Democrats want.
Meanwhile the Democrats strengthen their image of the party for killing babies and bringing us back to living in caves to "save the planet".
We also need to let the investigation play out. Yes, Trump has some serious issues that he's being investigated for - but we as a country need to allow the checks and balances the time needed to work. We can't jump on every news headline, or take the word of a single person.
Yesterday's line of question in towards the end was the first step in public hearings about the financial crimes. This is a good thing.
Do you understand why people laugh at your posts, saying you have no clue what the fuck you are talking about?
So, there is a record of “everyone who’s worked for Trump”?
If he’s as bad as you have been saying since Election Day, you wouldn’t have to use hyperbolic bullshit to make a point.
If you need an example of real TDS, look at any of your political posts about Trump. You have been so upset about his win, saying you have never been more politically scared in your life... let me ask you: what specifically has happened in your life since 1/22/17 that would support such a ridiculous notion?
Not just the financial crimes, though those are certainly important. The part about Cohen overhearing the conversation between Stone and Trump is really interesting considering the question that Mueller asked Trump regarding it. It was leaked by anon sources that Trump said Stone never told him about Wikileaks. Stone himself, who denies communicating with Trump about it, said Trump answered that question truthfully by denying it happened.
Jump ahead to 6:15 to see Roger Stone's response to Tucker - https://www.msnbc.com/the-beat-with-...-1449614915700
You're the one that keeps shouting for people to wait for Mueller's report, all because people want to discuss what's going on. Cohen's remarks on Roger Stone are highly relevant to all of this specifically because of Stone's indictment and his comments regarding the question posed to Trump.
There's no proof. It's a liars word against two other known liars.
Donald Trump once killed a hooker after she wouldn't let him double team her with his son Jr.
That statement has the same level of credibility as Cohen's statements.
Sure. Except you haven't been investigated and interviewed by SDNY and the SCO and you're not sworn under oath under the penalty of more prison time. That's not to say that in itself gives Cohen's statements credibility.. it simply means he is saying stuff that can likely be verified by the federal investigators involved, and I'm sure they were paying attention to yesterday's circus.
Cohen has already been referred to the DOJ for perjury yesterday by Republicans on the committee, Jordan and Meadows so we'll see what comes of that.
Repubs going after Cohen, for further perjury. We seriously need term limits and IQ tests for these idiots.
Still having trouble processing that the leaked question was confirmed by Roger Stone, on Fox News no less. Shocker. You're really giving Tgo a run for his money.
