Oh wait, one more bit of information I just read about this absurd testimony. Cohen literally said Trump did NOT instruct him to lie to Congress, meaning you can't get Trump for obstruction of justice on that and even the liar Cohen admits he lied all on his own. So why wouldn't he be here lying now to secure a book deal for when he is out of prison?

The far left looks towards actual liars as heroes now. First it was Chief Bullshit Nathan Phillips who was at least smart enough not to lie to the police so he didn't face any legal trouble. Then it was now arrested for lying Jussie Smollett. And now it's actual convicted liar, for lying to congress no less, as their latest hero as he gives testimony...before congress...in which he admitted he lied to congress before on his own volition.

No one is disputing Cohen a liar.

Considering Trump used Cohen to lie for him for over a decade his word has absolutely no meaning. However if he has hard evidence like documents or recordings, or his testimony corroborates with others.. then it has meaning. And from what we know the feds investigating found his evidence and testimony worth listening to.

I don't care for Cohen one bit, he's still a slimy mob lawyer.

I'm not saying Cohen should be exonerated, and his past lies will certainly be weighed against him. I'm saying if what he has said is backed up by evidence and testimony from other people then it's certainly worth listening to. This is how the court system works in this country.

Yeah no doubt, I'd be cautious about trusting his word as well. But if his testimony matches up with the testimony of others who are cooperating then it doesn't bode well for team Trump.

At one point Cohen said Trump told him that he never expected to win and become president. So according to the far left's latest hero, Trump said he never expected to win. Well gosh, so much for that whole Trump/Russia collusion thing huh. There is no "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" if you never expected to win.
