Going back on topic - Cohen cancelled his visit to the House, citing ongoing threats against his family by Trump and Rudy. The Senate Intelligence Committee has subpoenaed him though and he's agreed to go speak with them in February. Trump was (shocker) dumb enough to admit to threatening Cohen "with the truth".

The special counsel's grand jury met today to get testimony from Jerome Corsi's stepson. The last time the grand jury met on a Thursday (they normally meet on Fridays) was right before the GRU indictments.

I suppose it's possible, but that's very unethical. Typically a prosecutor will throw everything they have at someone then offer to drop some of the more serious charges in exchange for cooperation.
