I'm really sorry that it didn't turn out to be a fixable pneumonia problem. I hope they figure out what it was so it doesn't happen again!

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it. Heard from the vet, and it turns out that it was just her lungs. They were in such bad shape, they couldn't accept any air. He said it made no sense and he sent biopsies to a pathologist and should know more in a week or two. Could have been something cancerous, or an inflammatory response, who knows. I seriously just don't understand how she could have gone from zero breathing issues and relatively healthy (aside from calicivirus and the associated teeth/gum issues) to this, from a dental. I guess I'll find out in a couple weeks. For now, I think I'll get drunk.
