Problem is they can have some group seperators, file seperators, unit seperators, etc. Depends on what vendor is sending in the product. I'm trying to use a scan handler to remove these before sending the data up to the iSeries otherwise I'll return an invalid value in field error because those seperators are hex values (1F, 1D, 1E, etc.) so I'm using a A(0)[X\\1F;] type of handler for this emulator basically it says Any bar code of any length delete value 1F before passing bar code to terminal. Problem is it's not working which is frustrating because that's the syntax provided by the damn company who's emulator I'm using.

Getting them on the horn now because I need this put to bed so I can move on to other shit.

That is facked. If I had to upload bars and handlers rewrote their parameters, I'd hide in the lunchroom until I could clock out. Shit.

Eh I know I can do it. It's basically a gloried find and replace prior to transmit. If value XYZ is found replace with ABC then pass to the terminal.

Problem is I don't think their tier 1 staff knows more than what's on the typed up script in front of them because this shit is just freezing my device and causing me to warm boot it.

My FUCKING dumbass baby-sitter (see also: my wife's sister) decided to not screw the cap on my daughter's medication, which just so happens to be Oxybutynin. The price of this medication? $186.75. I JUST refilled it last week. She needs this medication before her procedure in two weeks -- I've never had an incident like this before, so hopefully they will refill it for me. I still lose almost another $200, though.

I fixed it! Terminal Emulator - 0 Me - 1 WOOOOOOOOT! Now to have my customer test it on their site and confirm.
