Thats terrible. I know its hard to be there with them when they pass but it's the right call, knowing that the last thing they get to see is their best buddy.

That sucks man. Losing a dog is the worst thing ever. I'm still wrecked over my dogs and they've been gone 2 & 4 years now.

Yea, we know the end is near for Dude.. and I'm not sure I'll be ready for a new dog anytime soon :(

I've been through it a half dozen times. It doesn't get any easier and seems to hurt more each time. But, I find recovery is a little easier if I have another dog or dogs to hug while I mourn.

Yea, we had to put our beloved Dude to sleep last week.. and today we're off to pick up our new puppy. It's so fucking quiet here, we couldn't stand it.

Well, in addition to my friend passing from it my husband's grandpa isn't expected to make it (hit by the Covid after gathering for Thanksgiving) and his uncle had to be hospitalized and isn't looking good either (also gathered for Thanksgiving). It boggles my mind that they decided to gather with hisk risk individuals because heaven forbid people go one year without.

No idea when this went down other than at least somewhat recently. :(
