I'm surprised his speech didn't straight up threaten political retribution from Trump if he gets elected again. I know they're already doing it with death threats, but Jordan is like Trump's fourth son, but with a fixation with male college wrestlers instead of women.
Aww Jordan was officially dropped as a speaker candidate. Not because he withdrew himself, no, his colleagues took a vote and decided he no longer was a qualified candidate. GG
Jordans in the same boat. Haha. Majority doesn't mean shit when the Republicans are broken into factions that won't move. 8 tea party morons (rebranded to freedom whatever) crushing your party and you're blaming Democrats.
Democrats are unified time and time again, but the Republicans can't agree how fascist they can be.
Poor Jordan, he couldn't even see sexual assault in front of him, and people think he's some great investigator because he just yells.
Haha.

Pretty amusing Rep Emmer got scared off a mere 5 hours after being announced as the next speaker candidate, wonder which boogeyman in in the Freedom Caucus intimidated him. Smooth move though, Democrats probably would have given him enough votes to be Speaker given he's not a rabid looney toons MAGA lover.
oh im sorry, does sexual assault only work when it fits your narrative?
Here's the thing...I can respect that reason.
I'm also not a Democrat and did not vote for Biden. It's not a team sport - I don't agree with anyone's full platform.
I'd prefer ranked choice voting so I am not throwing my vote away to a third party.

I like to think that I am impartial, but its not because I support democrats. I want both parties to answer for their crimes against the citizens.
Mike Johnson probably gets it done for speaker.
This entire situation is a shit show.
I have never, ever heard you bring up the sexual assault reports against Joe Biden.
Seems like you only care about sexual assault when it's not your party doing it.
And Joe Biden allegedly DID the sexual assault.. he didn't just not report it.
"BUT THAT'S DIFFERENT!" - Seranlite
A constitutional attorney who advocated to get rid of the CR and pushes single subject spending bills, is against ukraine funding, has held leadership positions, god fearing conservative, is well liked within the party and is supported by Trump. I cant imagine why you want him locked up.
Right? they really dont want to go down that path...
When criminals commit crimes, they often get locked up. When members of Congress actively fight to subvert Democracy, they're breaking the most fundamental laws of our country, those derived from the Constitution itself. The Falwells were also God-fearing conservatives and one was an indicted religious con man, while his son had threesomes with a pool boy who he hired to cuck him. Go figure

Just a reminder that the dems helped make this happen.
I love the left's meltdown with the thought of Mike Johnson as Speaker.
This is of their own doing... and I'm so here for it.
Here's the Johnson democrats have:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Mike Johnson was just elected Speaker.
Get fucked Democrats, you worthless retarded fucks.
220 votes. Can someone help me with this math?
guessing Jordan for Majority leader and Donalds for whip
Brace for Democrats saying: This isn’t fair! We want McCarthy back!

Today just keeps getting better
Matt Gaetz wins again. After McCarthy was ousted at Gaetz's instigation, Gaetz proposed Johnson for speaker. Johnson humbly declined at the time. But not anymore.
Let's start counting the day until a motion to vacate is filed by Republicans
You all are operating from a false premise....
The American people have no fucking clue who, or what, the Speaker of the House is.
The American people have no fucking clue what the three Branches of Government are.
The American people couldn't even tell you what the Constitution is/says/does for them.
The Left has accomplished their goal since 1960... making Americans the dumbest pieces of shit they can.
How Educational Differences Are Widening America’s Political Rift
College graduates are now a firmly Democratic bloc, and they are shaping the party’s future. Those without degrees, by contrast, have flocked to Republicans.
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/09/08/u...ates-vote.html
Sorry to bust your bubble, but the uneducated are mainly with the Republicans
Sorry to burst your bubble... but if you think going to college and getting a degree means "educated" in America... you would be wrong.
Sadly, the rest of us have to live with the so called "educated"... that support Socialism, Hamas, deny science (how many genders are there?), believe their personal loans should be repaid by everyone else (school loan repayments), openly support segregation ("safe spaces" for POCs) and disregard the 1st Amendment by doxing, threatening, and assaulting those they disagree with.
By the way... "educated" doesn't mean intelligent.
That’s not the flex you think it is right now. Just look at the poor quality of education, political indoctrination to leftist ideology, and indentured servitude to student debt that college graduates receive these days. I think I’d rather be uneducated than project this kind of shit off the side of a building & believe I’m enlightened for doing so:
https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/640/cp...5_gw349858.jpg
How exactly does that show education? Having a dumb opinion about something, or view something short-sighted don’t go hand in hand. Many replublicans thought JFK was coming back to life, and going to be Trump’s running mate. That shows stupidity, but you can be educated and stupid at the same time. A lot of people think the Bible was written by god himself, and Jesus really did walk on water, that doesn’t make them uneducated. Look at history, Educated, brilliant people believed in the geocentric model, and many other things that are absolutely silly. etc etc.
While I’m not up to date with the education system in the states much, but what I do know, it’s leagues above 95%+ of the rest of the world, minus maybe a few countries in Europe
Because the Republican party has made it their mission to arm every brain dead member with the hopes that if they shriek enough about conspiracies that they'll go lone wolf and take out political opponents. Let's be straight, hate crimes in the United States are largely the result of political radicalism and xenophobia taught by Republicans. The shooting in Maine? Probably another MAGA lifer with the conflict resolution skills of w radical Wahabbist with an AR-15.
Just admit the plumber is smarter than you, we all know it's true.
If you want to talk about political violence, I have 6 years of Democrat fueled riots, Republican baseball game assassination attempt, a trans person shooting up a Christian church, pro-terrorist Democrats terrorizing Jews and anyone that happens by their "protests".
But
Everyone that is a Republican is deplorable, uneducated and dirty unvaxxed people that need reeducation camps.

So that retard who's 150k in debt over a Gender Studies degree is by default smarter than a welder because they went to college?
Or have you not noticed how stupid the typical "educated" person is these days, and how colleges will just sell people all sorts of useless degrees now, and for massively inflated prices, despite said degree having no use in the real world?
Person A goes 100k+ into debt and still works at Starbuck's, but still has a Gender Studies degree
Person B went to welding school and makes 50-60k+ a year starting out (or whatever their average noob welder salary is) with little or no debt
According to your logic, Person A > Person B
You're starting to sound like time4fun more and more every day.
Protip, just in case: Men can't breastfeed
Gosh, it's almost as if they're being influenced by their massively retarded educators at their massively retarded colleges getting their massively retarded "African LGBTQIA+ Dance Theory" degree.
Let me guess, you've never heard even one story about someone being "normal" when they get to college, and within a year they're basically Seran (well probably not THAT stupid, but still)?
Your specific source? I need to see this.
Starting a ridiculous statement with, "Many <insert group of people>" typically implies it's made up.
I know a few people with multiple advanced degrees who are some of the dumbest people I know because all they learned was how to study and take tests, not how to work in the real world. Its a failure of the education system in general and the more time goes by the more evident it is that college is wasteful outside of STEM.

Oh here we go again… Never let a good tragedy go to waste, right Seran? Predictable you waste no time for facts to emerge or have any honest real discussion about the underlying problems that contribute to these tragedies. Nope…you can’t even wait for the bodies to turn cold before you parrot the need for more gun control and blame this all on your political opposition. Shame on you.
You're joking right? Crazy man with gun, that's the extent of the problem right there. I'm sure team Far Right will attempt to spin this as he was an innocent until some lefty policy caused him to snap, for that is the extent of the apologist rhetoric you use to excuse gun violence.

At the site overlooking where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated nearly six decades ago, scores of QAnon believers outfitted with “Trump-Kennedy 2024” shirts, flags and other merchandise gathered. They forecast the president’s son John F. Kennedy Jr., who has been dead for over 20 years, would appear at that spot, emerging from anonymity to become Donald Trump’s vice president when the former president is reinstated. The prophecy foretold online, of course, did not come true.
Do you have any sources to back up your claim? Because all I found was this, and her bullshit follow up response.

Congresswoman claims most mass shooters are Democrats
“I am fed up with the media and liberals attempting to politicize tragedies and demonize law-abiding gun owners and conservative Americans every time there is a horrible tragedy,” Tenney said in the statement. “While we know the perpetrators of these atrocities have a wide variety of political views, my comments are in response to a question about the failure to prosecute illegal gun crime. I will continue to stand up for law-abiding citizens who are smeared by anti-gun liberal elitists.”
Except, according to his social media, this guy was a republican.
This is the issue with this debate. You can find people on both sides with issues. This guy was in the Army reserves and got his weapon from the armory. He also started having schizophrenia episodes earlier this year. If that was known then why was he allowed to remove a weapon from the armory?
I don’t think it is, our education system was never geared to tell you how the real world works, that was/is the parents’ job.
As a parent myself, I’m going to make sure I teach my child these things.
My wife is absolutely clueless about credit cards, loans and banking. Is she dumb in this area? Yes, she is, but it’s because she’s never had to deal with it, or use it outside of a basic debit card. That’s a failure not on the education system, but more of the parents imo.
My oldest son goes to Colorado School of Mines and he is majoring in chemical engineering with a minor in explosives (yeah he will most certainly be on some FBI watch list). He has a pretty good idea of what he wants to do after graduation and a degree in his chosen field is valuable.
My oldest daughter really had no idea what she wants to do after graduation (she has a better idea now). She is going to community college and this May will have all of her basic courses completed that can transfer to any state school in Texas. Doing that saved us several thousand dollars.
The system is flawed. Government funds universities, universities can charge students whatever they want as they get government backed loans, and most students don’t know any better. Kids go to college because they think it’s what is expected and our culture. We need to reform it.
I believe classes such as accounting and what not should be mandatory and core classes, but at the same time, I feel it’s also the parent’s job to teach them about important life skills.
When my child gets old enough, I’m going to make sure they take these important classes to prepare them for the real world, while teaching them myself.
I think the issue is parents rely on the education system to teach them everything while failing to teach them anything at home. Every time you go out with your child is an opportunity to teach them about the real world. Honestly, anytime you do anything with your child, is an opportunity for you to instill knowledge and wisdom, most parents just don’t do it.
At my kindergarten there was a girl that came in, on her first day, she shit in the corner of the room. The teachers told the parents about it, and the parents only response was “it’s not my job to teach my daughter, it’s yours”. That’s is the problem.
Accounting is different from personal finance. You’re looking at this with a view of the finance world. The problem we have right now is so many people are financially illiterate that how can they be expected to teach their kids? Just like government and religion gives parallel rules to live life by(a debate for a different day) schools and parents should also be creating parallel learning for their kids.
Basic accounting is literally one of the most important skills you can have in life. The ability to manage and understand your money. If you as a parent are financially illiterate, then it’s your job as a parent to make sure that your child learns it, visit a bank, take a course as a parent, to teach your child. Make sure your child takes classes when they get older. Don’t pass on your mistakes to your child, you should learn and be better.
My friend is a single dad raising a girl, and he took a class on makeup, hair products and what not so he can help teach his daughter about it. That’s what parents should be doing, not expecting other people to do it for them.

I like Trump/Gabbard as a ticket.
I suspect trump will add someone who can pull more from the left. He needs margins of victory we’ll beyond doubt to bypass the rigged system. Not sure he can do that with another freedom caucus member unless something major happens to drive people right, although things are slowly shifting that way already.
I’m not sure who that is though. RFK was the natural choice because they worked together on the first round but I don’t think they’ll go that route.
I never argued the classes shouldn’t be in school, I just said schools aren’t geared that way. I just said “life skills” are a responsibility of a parent. Like wearing makeup, proper etiquette on a plane and in public, common courtesy, basic respect, etc etc.
In regards to why he did it, his wife passed away, so he’s doing both roles.
My point is that whenever it comes out that the shooter was a mentally ill leftist, which is a redundant term, but anyway, once that comes out, the media usually buries the story right away and you stop hearing about it. But not before they spent the first few days being like, "PLEASE LET THE SHOOTER BE A STRAIGHT WHITE REPUBLICAN CHRISTIAN MALE OMG OMG OMG PLEEEEEEASE!!!!!" and then they get legitimately upset in the instances that it isn't, as if it should matter in the first place.
Pretty sure nobody except maybe Seran is denying that there are crazies on all sides, and no I'm not going to go looking up mass shooter political leaning statistics, primarily because I'm lazy.
I also agree that it shouldn't be about left or right. It also shouldn't be about guns, because the real problem is mental illness, which everyone on all sides seem to be hell bent on ignoring beyond lip service.
It won’t be desantis. He was likely going to be the candidate had he not taken the money to run against trump. Would have been VP then the natural succession as the republican candidate in 2028 giving maga 12 years. It needs to be someone who will have massive pull from a group that is traditionally democrat voters. Byron Daniels makes a little sense, Trumps suburban women votes are on the uptick so he could look for a knockout blow there but I think Noem makes some sense. Obviously those 2 are targeted at specific demographics and not the more neutral candidate I think they’ll go with.
Schools in general need to be overhauled to work on more group based learning/projects and less memorization. Also kids aren’t meant to be sitting for 8 hours a day, they need to increase activity/play and have shorter more focused learning sessions. I won’t pretend to have all the answers here but I think we can at least all agree that the education system needs an overhaul.
I’m not sure if it’s the same bill, but I was recently reading about him proposing a bill to dismantle pro-Palestinian student groups in universities.
As much as I am adamantly opposed to the sympathetic nature of some toward the Palestinians (with some going further to be straight up supportive of Hamas), I am a fundamental constitutionalist. Desantis seems to have no problem in this instance subverting people’s 1A rights. Employers and such blacklisting those students is fair game, but government doing that kind of stuff is not. He seems to have trouble understanding the distinction in fighting the culture wars. I’m disappointed and tend to agree with you. He has a great track record of good governance, but I’ve seen enough to come to the conclusion that I wouldn’t vote for him for President.
Solkern - Here's just one example of the education system now in America...
https://www.oregonlive.com/education...an%20in%202020.
"Oregon again says students don’t need to prove mastery of reading, writing or math to graduate, citing harm to students of color"
Now if this is not the soft indoctrination by racist pieces of shit, developing their new class of uneducated worker.... I'm not sure what is.
Absolutely insane the type of shit that is occurring.
Want to see a fun little snippet way down in the article?
"The report also notes that it’s possible that the level of skill required to meet Oregon’s since-paused academic mastery standards was “too low to improve college and university outcomes.” It’s also possible, the report said, that student success in college relies more heavily on other factors than writing or math skill levels."
Now you can ask yourself... what would those "other factors" be... You have someone that can't read, write, or do basic math... what in the world is going to make them "successful" in college?
They're saying it right out in the open... just no one is listening. It's a pure indoctrination program at this point.
And before you answer what would "make them successful"....
https://www.newsweek.com/college-stu...-rally-1837897
"College Students Offered Extra Credit To Attend Pro-Palestine Rally"
""(1) Students can attend the national student walkout tomorrow against the settler-colonial occupation of Gaza (info attached below) OR (2) Students can watch a short documentary on Palestine and call/email your local California representative using this linktree," the email said. "Doing so will count as a field trip or an extra 5 points on the field trip category of your grade."
Just remember... everyone wonders how the Nazi's came to power... we're watching it happen in real time with the insane Left... even though the media (which is the insane Left) keeps trying to convince everyone that the "Right" (which are actually just sane Democrats, Liberals, Independents, and Republicans) are the evil boogeyman in the shadows.
The funny part is... the titles (Left/Right/etc.) are actually falsehoods at this point.. it is the powerful Bourgeoisie vs the Proletariat all over again... and an uneducated populous is one of the mechanisms of control utilized in such a struggle...
But hey... just keep thinking their "words" are really going to help you... while you ignore their "actions" that affect you everyday...
Just 30 minutes earlier....

So you are voting for Biden then? Got it. And before you go off whining about it, that is EXACTLY what you are doing and exactly what the Left gets that the Right does not. Not voting is a vote for the other candidate in our system no matter what bullshit mental gymnastics you want to try and go through to justify it.

No, these are not mutually exclusive things and kids need to better learn to focus on a single task as well as work with others.
Yes, genuine recess/PE class with equipment that challenges and inspires rather than coddles because Johnny might break his arm and his shit parents sue. Johnny needs to learn to hold on better and now show boat on the equipment.Quote:

I’ll clarify that I will still go out to vote in the general election to select the lesser of two evils, but I’ve written DeSantis off (mostly) in the primaries. I get where you are coming from and agree. A conservative friend I know refuses to participate in the election because of perceived corruption in the Republican Party, which is true, but we don’t get to choose perfect candidates.
So Jamaal Bowman got a taste of justice for pulling a fire alarm in an attempt to delay the budget vote & nearly forcing a government shut down. He gets 3 months deferred adjudication and pays a $1,000 fine. I’m sure the unarmed J6 rioters that were simply in the building walking around & are currently serving lengthy prison sentences feel that justice is blind & impartial.

I think he will be a bottomless source of conversation fodder. It's hard to find a past Speaker to whom to compare him. Perhaps William Pennington.
You mean after they took an active role in elevating him to his current position?
Hey dick drinker, remember when you said this like 3 hours ago because you're a colossal fucking idiot?
^ lol
I'd say that says all anyone really needs to know about you, but everyone is already painfully aware of how much of a retard you are.
Funny you should bring up William Pennington. He was a Republican Speaker that attempted to preserve the Union & avoid Civil War by shielding slavery from future abolition. He failed, and history has not judged him kindly. I’m sure you are aware Democrats supported slavery at the time just as I’m aware of the Southern Strategy. So by bringing him up do you finally admit to Democrats being the party of slavery, or do you claim William Pennington as one of your own? You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
Yes I suppose that is another way to look at it. Democrats had an active role in elevating Mike Johnson to Speaker. We agree on that. Congrats and I hope it was everything they hoped it would be.
ChatGPT doesn't think that poorly of William.
William Pennington was an American politician who served as the Governor of New Jersey and a member of the U.S. House of Representatives in the mid-19th century. His views on slavery were in line with the prevailing sentiments of his time and the political climate of the era.
During his tenure in the U.S. House of Representatives, Pennington, like many Northern politicians of the time, opposed the spread of slavery into new territories acquired by the United States. He was a member of the Republican Party, which was founded, in part, on an anti-slavery platform.
While Pennington may not have been an ardent abolitionist, he generally supported the Republican Party's stance against the expansion of slavery. However, his primary focus as a politician was on issues related to economic development, internal improvements, and infrastructure.
It's important to note that the views on slavery and the specific positions held by individuals in the 19th century can vary widely. Some Northern politicians were more vocally anti-slavery, while others may have had more moderate or nuanced positions. Additionally, the context of the time, including the sectional tensions leading up to the American Civil War, influenced the positions of many politicians on this issue.
"bring taught"
https://gifdb.com/images/high/duh-we...e1syqalc2t.gif
Johnson is similar to Pennington in three ways. First, each was involved in an election dispute where he tried to use a position of power to appoint people who did not get as many votes as their opponents. Second, they were both elected after many failed Speaker votes. Third, they both came to the Speakership from relative obscurity.
No one thinks Mike Johnson wants slavery. William Pennington was a Republican the entire time he was in Congress, including when he tried to amend the Constitution to preserve slavery.
I've got to go finish assembling my Halloween treat bags. Now that I discovered you can buy individually wrapped prunes, I think this year's treat bags will be a bigger hit than last year's. Before I go, I'll pose one question for thought about the Constitutional amendment advocated by Pennington.
"No amendment shall be made to the Constitution which will authorize or give to Congress the power to abolish or interfere, within any State, with the domestic institutions thereof, including that of persons held to labor or service by the laws of said State."
What if future people amended the Constitution again saying something like, "The Constitution is amended by repealing the earlier amendment, and slavery is outlawed"? I say Pennington's amendment wasn't worth the paper it was printed on.
on this note one of the houses on our route had some Halloween themed pencils for some reason. wouldn't you know it the kids were taking pencils before the candy... kids are dumb.
Prunes are for warriors.
It is funny, because Mike Johnson is from my home town, still maintains a house near, and we know him personally.
tell him to release the J6 tapes.
China is restricting who/where they're selling their graphite to. Maybe these kids know something we don't. Or maybe they like to play the game "pencil pop" at school with their friends.....do kids still play the pencil pop game....do they even know what it is?
shes 3... shes just kid dumb.
Hamas going around on all the Arabian news shows saying they didn’t want to kill civilians and didn’t mean to. While stating that they want to destroy Israel and wipe them off the planet.
I hope Israel doesn’t stop till their all dead.
Hamas isn’t so much a political organization as it is a religious movement. They are brainwashed to believe that anything done to kill Jews & erase Israel will be rewarded by Allah. Any acts, no matter how heinous, in pursuit of that goal is seen as a virtue. It’s near impossible for us on this side of the world to even begin to comprehend their thought process, but lying / murdering innocents / rape / etc. is not just acceptable but rewarded in their jihad. They can not be reasoned with. I agree they need to all die, and that is exactly the primary objective for Israel in this war.
I don't get how Hamas is getting on the news like this. They are terrorists. Every time they poke their head up, blow it off.
The Middle East doesn't like the West because we are not Muslim. Around 50% of the population feels it's ok to kill those that leave Islam. They are often seen as heroic martyrs in that part of the world and the Leftist media everywhere loves them. Western sympathy and tolerance for this religious war and for people who want to kill us, our kids and our society just because we are not Muslim or even their particular brand of Islam may well be our downfall. People need to wake up. The only way to change this is our own Jihad like we did in WWII. And just of note, we are STILL in Germany and Japan, it took decades to root out that society so going into places like Iraq and Afghanistan and then leaving in a decade or 2 won't work. Unless we are willing to bomb them into submission and show ever man, woman and child that they have been irrevocably beaten and then spend decades educating them in how to get along with others, this shit won't end.
Lots of idiots believe they are justified and on the right side of history because somehow the West helping displaced Jews find a place in this world with their ancestral homeland is the evil white man patriarchy colonialism and all that. Never mind that Palestine was never a nation and Jews were there long before Muslims.
Fun fact: When the Romans conquered & destroyed Israel, they were the ones to call that area Palestine as a direct insult to the Jews they subjugated. It was named after the ancient civilization the Philistines which was Israel’s biblical mortal enemy.
That isn't really known, to be honest. The name for the area being Palestine is older than the Romans. They combined the two provinces of Syria and Judea to create one province they called Syria Palestina. They aren't actually sure if it happened before or after the Jewish revolt or even which emperor did it.
It’s true modern historians are challenging that. They also are no longer certain if the Philistines were part of the dreaded sea people responsible for the ruin of ancient Egypt & collapse of civilization at the time. There is a lot we don’t know. Much about an antiquity are stories & historian’s interpretation based on the little evidence we have.
It's impossible for me to think about the Roman Empire without thinking of this:

Yeah, when a BBC reporter asked him about the videos and footage of them shooting into toilets, killing families while they slept, and murdering those people at the music festival, he decided to just end the interview and complained later, that it wasn’t fair to be asked those questions. Lol
In his acceptance speech for the speaker position in October, Johnson said he believed God had placed him in his new position of power..
Quote:
I want to tell all my colleagues here what I told the Republicans in that room last night. I don’t believe there are any coincidences in a manner like this. I believe that scripture, the Bible is very clear that God is the one that raises up those in authority. He raised up each of you, all of us, and I believe that God has ordained and allowed each one of us to be brought here for this specific moment in this time. This is my belief.
He gave more detail about his divine appointment on November 28 in a closed speech to Christian legislators. He believed the speech was not being recorded -- a foolish assumption these days. Rolling Stone was one of the first news sources to report on the speech. I imagine it will be everywhere by the end of today..

Perhaps unaware that the event was being recorded for the NACL Facebook page, Johnson told the crowd: "I'll tell you a secret, since media is not here." ("Thank you for not allowing the media in," Johnson added, alleging that journalists have been taking his comments "out of context" with "great joy for the last few weeks.")
Johnson then revealed that — in the lead up to the "tumult" of Kevin McCarthy losing his gavel and the chaotic GOP process of selecting new Speaker — he had been speaking directly to God. "Look, I'm a Southern Baptist, I don't wanna get too spooky on you," he said, provoking some laughter from the attendees. "But, you know, the Lord speaks to your heart."
The message he received from God, Johnson said, was to prepare for a "Red Sea moment" — both for the Republican conference "and in the country at large." Johnson said found the directive confusing but he continued to seek the counsel of God.
"The Lord began to wake me up, through this three-week process, in the middle of night to speak to me," Johnson insisted. "Now at the time," he continued, "I assumed the Lord is going to choose a new Moses." But because of his own lesser rank among the GOP's leadership, Johnson said, he believed the heavenly message to be: "You're gonna allow me to be Aaron to Moses," citing the role of the Old Testament prophet's brother and biblical sidekick.
But then Johnson watched as candidate after candidate failed to generate the necessary Republican support to win the Speakership. "Ultimately 13 people ran for the post. And the Lord kept telling me to, ‘Wait, wait, wait,'" Johnson recalled. "So I waited, I waited. And then at the end … the Lord said, ‘Now step forward.'" Johnson regaled the audience with his surprise to be tapped as the Moses figure: "Me?" Johnson said. "I'm supposed to be Aaron." But that was not the message, Johnson insisted, recalling: "‘No,' the Lord said, ‘Step forward.'"

Johnson needs to prove it. If God really asked him to be the new Moses, instead of Johnson having delusions about his self-importance, then he will be able to turn a staff into a snake. If he doesn't have a staff, since they're not as popular as they used to be, he can use the flagpole rioters beat the cop with.

Evangelical extremists are goofy fucks, there's nothing unconstitutional about being a goofy fuck.
You're still free to cut off your cock at 18, we will be here to defend your right to do that. Maybe you can turn your severed cock into a sausage. Goofy fuck.

I'd just note that for a lot of Christians, prayer and listening to their inner voice while they 'speak to God' about their burdens is a very important part of his face. Yeah he may be hamming it up a bit in sharing the details about his prayer to drum up Conservative support, but I wouldn't call them delusions. Call it projected faith.
As Republicans make plans to vote out their current speaker, kingslayer Matt Gaetz has a suggestion for the replacement..
Quote:
Representative Matt Gaetz floated the prospect on Thursday that Representative Lauren Boebert could be better suited to serve as House speaker than current Speaker Mike Johnson who continues facing outrage from conservatives over his support for Ukraine aid.

Boebert is a dumb ho and shouldn't even be in Congress. She's a Corrie Bush equivalent. Or an AOC, or any of the squad.
Boebart is being shit on by other Republicans and has no say over anything. She is an idiot.
It's on! Does Greene have what it takes to replicate the Gaetz maneuver?Quote:
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) announced Wednesday she’ll force a vote next week on whether to oust Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), an extraordinary move highlighting the internal turmoil in the GOP.
But it’s also a move that is all but certain to fail after Democratic leaders said they would vote to protect the Speaker from her coup attempt.
Forcing a vote on the motion to vacate resolution — which Greene filed against Johnson more than a month ago — will compel the chamber to act on the measure within two legislative days.
