Sorry about the overlook for the promotion but congrats that your man did. I won't throw in any personal anecdotes here about why I think that dating/marrying someone you met at work is the worst possible decision ever, that all men suck, and that life isn't fair. I will also not mention anything about QQ motherfucking I hate all men. (oh I just said that, whooops, but I promise, I won't!) I would just like to say that I have sympathy that you didn't get the promotion and/or congratulations that he did. (is that ok, Tisket?)

I do hear that Amazon is a killer place to work. If the economics of NorCal are still as ridiculous as I remember, relocating east should lower your cost of living and balance out your lack of increased funds. I lived in the Bay Area for nearly 2 years and never heard of Tracy. Talk about sprawl!

But...I met my boyfriend here on the PC/Gemstone. lol. Yeah, Amazon is pretty cool. We get stocks that we vest when we hit our 2 year mark, and get more as we stay with the company.

I was looking at apartments in Tracy, and some around there are 900 or so, but Stockton has nice looking 2 bedrooms apts for around 700. Then again, this is just looking at pictures and not in person because we live 5 hours away. Ugh.

But neverthess, thanks for the congratulations/sympathy I think I'm getting here. lol.
