About a month ago Blizzard banned the audience from using the OK hand symbol at their Overwatch League events because "muh white supremacy!!!"

I was watching a video about this where a guy is watching another video of someone defending Blizzard's decision. The guy defending Blizzard basically said "Well the OK hand symbol might have been harmless at one point, but white supremacists use the hand symbol now so it's bad!"

The guy watching this dipshit said "So is waving. White supremacists wave at people too."

He brings up an excellent point. Waving is now a symbol of white supremacy!!!

Wasn't sure where to post this. It's about a school shooting so that belongs in the frown thread, but what the students did made me smile.

Everyone has heard about the school shooting in Colorado recently I'm sure. Apparently there were a few kids who tried to tackle the gunman, I know for sure one died. A bunch of politicians and gun control advocates organized a vigil for the student who sacrificed his life to help save others and apparently rather than honor the student all they did was push for gun control to these students (so I think their actions fit the "facepalm" thread.)

A lot of students were so upset that they got up and walked out of the "vigil" and held their own impromptu vigil in honor of the student who sacrificed himself. They eventually went back to the "vigil", explaining to people they don't want their tragedy to be used to push for gun control and instead want more focus on mental health.
