Speaking of Seran being perfectly okay with corporations and rich people getting tax breaks as long as the tax breaks are coming from Democrats, Pelosi apparently shoved more SALT provisions into the bill, increasing the current cap from 10k to 80k, which of course would mostly benefit the top 20% of earners in the US and especially help the top 1%.

But Democrat approved tax cuts for the rich somehow end up taxing the rich more or something.

My family owned and operated a small regional newspaper for years. Taking money from government is the original sin in journalism. Only you and the democrats seemingly want journalism taking government money.

Which is it, tax corporations or give them billions?

I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and guess you don't understand that some 60% of Americans own their homes and surprisingly enough, a few of them also live in states which also have income taxes and state sales tax. Would it surprise you to know that the combination of state income tax, property tax and/or sales taxes exceeds $10,000 dollars? "But but, the rich people," you shriek in an oddly high pitched, effeminate tone, while omitting the Senate was including a $400,000 income cap.

Orange man added this provision, not because he gave a fuck about increasing taxes on the wealthy, but as he campaigned on endlessly, to punish liberals living in high cost of living metropolitan areas and coastal states.

And you think the vast majority of home owners earn so much money that they owe so much in local and state taxes that they need MORE than 10k in deductions?

Or do you realize that the vast vast VAST majority of home owners don’t pay anywhere near 10k in state and local taxes?

It’s funny because something like 47% of people don’t make enough money to owe federal taxes yet Seran would have us believe 60% of Americans make so much money that they are paying more than 10k in state and local taxes alone.
