How is this even legal and not considered a huuuge conflict of interest?
The Clinton Foundation (https://www.clintonfoundation.org/) accepted millions of dollars from seven foreign governments during Hillary Rodham Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state, including one donation that violated its ethics agreement with the Obama administration, foundation officials disclosed Wednesday.

No reason it's not legal. I doubt she herself was a director of that foundation while she was Secretary of State.
Ethical conflict of interest - that's another story.

lolwut?
You believe that Hillary suddenly stopped all dealings with the CLINTON Foundation while she was SoS?
She's a dirtbag... just like her husband. "Depends on what you mean by the word "ethical""

It's legal, but ethically wrong.
The Algeria one is of certain concern though.
On a side note... what kind of idiot gives the CLINTONS money to philanthropic things with. I mean... WTF.. there are already non profits to donate money to for whatever reason you really need.
The real story to me..
The fact that their expenses for 2013 were 222 million. Of which 79 million was for salaries and Benefits, 19.2 million for travel costs, professional and Consulting fees.. 16.7 million, Conferences and Events.. 11.2 million, and money given directly to the programs they are so wonderfully serving.. 29.4 million. So lets see... 13.3% of the Money you give them to help "Save the World" actually goes to saving the world. Linkden says there are 201-500 employees.. another place I saw said 275, but 19 people recently added that are likely Hillary Campaign staffers. Still... 300 people.. 79 million in salary and Benefits. Probably would be better off just mailing your Money to Haiti then giving it to Clinton to help Haiti.

yeah... this is true of many charities. It sucks. Most of it just goes to running the charity.

13.3% for a "charity" is terrible. It stops being an actual charity in my book when you are using $.86 out of every dollar give for stuff other than the charity you are supposedly helping.
It's a slush fund.

That's why you always check out the charities financials, or donate directly to something.
I think I read somewhere that you should never donate to something that is less then a 50%. My bad.. it's 75%
"To get the biggest bang for the buck, CharityWatch advises, consumers should donate to charities that use at least 75% of donations for direct aid. The Red Cross, at 91%, is well above that mark."
JUST taking Salaries and Benefits into account... they would be below 75% at 64.5% (35.5% for Salaries and Benefits) And of course, another 8.6% for travel..

Don't they have to document how much the Clintons take out for salaries? I imagine it would be on their tax returns?

I would think so. But Clinton's tax returns are likely private till she runs. Even then, I am sure she will claim nearly nothing. After all.. the biggest point of the Foundation really is to promote the Clinton brand.

The form 990s of the foundation are public on the website. Looking at 2013, no compensation to them was reported. 2012, 2011, 2010, neither her or Bill were directors.
Jarvan's correct, the point of the Foundation is promote the brand, not to get income. They've got a ton of speaking fees for income instead.

I could have sworn Hillary said her speaking fees went to the foundation.

Yeah, I believe she has said that, but that doesn't make it true. She is a Clinton. It would depend on what the definition of "went" is.

Looking at news articles from liberal sources, none of them are saying that in defense of her, so I don't think so. (that'd be the first thing they'd say otherwise!)

Your Google-fu is weak, Kembal. Here it is, straight from the horse's mouth.
Hillary Clinton continued to justify her high-dollar speaking fees on Friday, telling ABC News' Ann Compton that all of the money she's made from colleges over the past year and a half has been donated to her family's foundation.
"All of the fees have been donated to the Clinton Foundation for it to continue its life-changing and life-saving work. So it goes from a foundation at a university to another foundation," Clinton said when asked about the criticism she and her husband have faced recently for their wealth.

You should peruse other sources than just liberal ones...
