We need to stop all traffic in and out. Six months from now, we can let the survivors out.

Should have quarantined Texas the day Rick Perry was born.

I think shutting down Houston would be a very bad idea for the United States.

As bad as total protonic reversal?

President Bush knew what he would do if we had an outbreak when he was president. Military.
One example: If we had an outbreak somewhere in the United States, do we not then quarantine that part of the country, and how do you then enforce a quarantine? When -- it's one thing to shut down airplanes; it's another thing to prevent people from coming in to get exposed to the avian flu. And who best to be able to effect a quarantine? One option is the use of a military that's able to plan and move.
And so that's why I put it on the table. I think it's an important debate for Congress to have. I noticed the other day, evidently, some governors didn't like it. I understand that. I was the commander-in-chief of the National Guard, and proudly so, and, frankly, I didn't want the President telling me how to be the commander-in-chief of the Texas Guard. But Congress needs to take a look at circumstances that may need to vest the capacity of the President to move beyond that debate. And one such catastrophe, or one such challenge could be an avian flu outbreak.

Bush now lives in Dallas, and he's a germophobe (http://www.sodahead.com/united-states/george-bush-used-hand-sanitizer-immediately-after-shaking-barack-obamas-hand-is-bush-germophobic-o/question-188322/).

Hide out at his ranch?
Saturate the area with fuel-air bombs.

Some U.S. nuclear-warhead components, scheduled for disassembly in the next year, have gotten at least a temporary new lease on life. The reason: possible use in defending the Earth against killer asteroids.

Do they think we really believe asteroids are the reason? Those bombs could be used to stop other threats to the world. Unfortunately, it's something Obama will need to consider for the sake of the rest of the country. He won't be able to announce his plans for in advance because then it wouldn't work.

Why would Obama use nukes on Texas? Wouldn't Africa make more sense? :/

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. That's basic logic.

Louisiana has the right idea this time.
NEW ORLEANS - A Louisiana waste disposal facility says it will not accept the ashes generated when a Texas Ebola victim's belongings were incinerated, at least not until state officials agree that it would pose no threat to the public.
Chemical Waste Management Inc.-Lake Charles said in news release Monday that it is permitted to accept such material and that it poses no threat to the environment or human health.
But, the company says, "we do not want to make an already complicated situation, more complicated."
Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell says he plans to go to court to block the transport of the waste to the Calcasieu Parish facility.

You should read this column by the nephew of Thomas Duncan, the man who died of ebola in a Dallas hospital. He suggests that the hospital sent his uncle home with antibiotics and tylenol to treat his virus because he didn't have insurance. It's going to be a point of discussion.

If true, then this clearly was a planted incident by the Obama administration to rally support for Obamacare prior to mid-term elections for the Demorat Party ... tho it probably would had been much more effective when it was still being deliberated as legislation.
