Another case of government retardation, because, hey, it's not their money. Besides, nothing like this should be considered until he dies, because hopefully by then we'll have recovered from his tenure and people will have forgotten him except for the obligatory trivial pursuit question about the first black president.

Obama needs to do what Clinton did... find someone with deep pockets that has someone special rotting in jail and pardon them for a "donation" for the library.

Wow, Obama's library is going to be like bidding for the olympics.

Three universities in the city – the University of Chicago, Chicago State University and the University of Illinois at Chicago -- plan to bid for the library. Chicago may face competition from bidders in Hawaii and New York City.

Also, Bush's library cost 250 million!!1!!one!!

Bush was 2.5 times the president Obama is.

Bush was 2.5 times the president Obama is.

I seriously contemplated making that joke. Great minds, and all that.

Well if want to compare them across these numbers, please keep in mind that the 100million is just to what the state's going to chip in as an incentive. They're projecting more like $500 million for the library.

I refuse to keep that in mind as it is unhelpful for the purposes of starting a ridiculous argument that has no purpose or bearing in facts.

They're projecting more like $500 million for the library.

In that case Bush is twice the man Obama is because he could get the same thing done for half the cost!
