I hadn't really said anything about my trip until after I had bothered him. You may be right though. He didn't do anything stupid while I was there either, although I KNOW he does that. I'm just wondering if he can handle people who haven't made his life hell.

We'll see on my next trip to mule, which could be soon since I want to kill someone popular to see if I can get some stuff going on in that boring town. Who's well known that I could kill that would get a bunch of people involved and fired up?

Icemule is the greatest place to live. Small enough where every third person isnt a moron but big enough so your not completely bored. 90% of my youngins start there as i really enjoy the town and the people. Even Garr! :)

2. I NEVER take all the healing in the room. I take a patient, then let the next one ask at least twice or ask me specifically before I take it so others get a chance. That's generally how it goes in Icemule. It's like a natural sharing system. This guy was flaming sleeping then wants to start crying because I'm doing all the healing. ( I was the only other empath in the room).
3. Another thing we don't do in Icemule is ask if anyone needs healing. If they need it, they ask. It's kind of rude to push it on people here. He asks every two minutes. Kind of rude.

I remember a few years back, there was a GM controlled troll or some such that was sitting just south of the entrance to lake Eonake.

It was there simply for dueling rp. I had talked it into an ass woopin of the highest order and we began trading blows when this idgit waltzes in and casts a maelstrom (before the focus change). I got some pretty bad crits, the troll got some bad crits, three bystanders took dirt naps. I told the idgit to back off or die. His reply was to cast implode. I thorned him into oblivion and had to run. When I came back, the troll was gone and there were 8 bodies.

The only credit I can give to Wardoofm is that he chose to be a warrior. I would hate to see how much damage he could do out of stupidity with area spells.

According to Hosts I've spoken with and GMs I've chatted to, logging out to avoid death isn't game mech abuse. Maybe continually attacking people and then logging out when successfully attacked is though, so I'll give it a try. Others should report him for it too, since I know I'm not the only one that has seen him do this.

It might not seem like a problem to you, Leloo, but it is a problem to others if you leave your empath sitting in a public area and unresponsive. If you take her to a private place to be a zombie, I have no problem with it.

Personally, I enjoy seeing this done well. Stray has done it well here. I think the problem arises when people do it poorly, which is the most common thing one sees, unfortunately. :(

I was going to suggest that, but I didn't want to sound like I'm completely innocent or anything. Sure I make mistakes, and have handled some conflict poorly, but I truly believe I have improved and gotten over a lot of childish things I did in the not-so-distant past.

I'd even go so far to say the quality of my posts are improving somewhat. But that's just my perception which could be completely flawed.

And I do RP, believe it or not. Most of my most brilliant moments are shared with 1 or 2 people, though, and I'd never post the logs, as most of them are personal or special to me, and I don't feel like having them picked apart.

Nope, now I remember. She had somehow lost a nice set of armor (I think it was altered FGB) with a Faendryl description. After I read what she posted on the official boards, something clicked in my head and I remember catching a glimpse of something like that the day previous. Demiloa, who I knew was her friend, had a set similar to it. So putting two and two together, I e-mailed her saying that I saw Demiloa (which is a girls name, btw.) with a set of armor similiar to what she lost, but couldn't say if it was the same or not and that maybe she should just check it out. She wrote me back, thanking me, and said something along the lines that he has access to her account and that he very well might have it. She also promised not to mention my name when she asked him. She then wanted to meet me in game to discuss it, where I said nothing I didn't say in the e-mail. That fucking idiot ran and told Demiloa that I was accusing him of hacking her account and stealing her armor. WTF is that?

So Demiloa comes storming into the small park, INTERUPTS MY STEALING SPREE, and drags me to a table and asks me why I've been spreading shit about him. MMk.

Amberisse comes in a bit later and speaks in guild speak (I have a healer char) that he could wail, moan, pray, sigh, and everything else, but would not consent to being healed so she didn't do it. The little vulture Oguo handled that, but that's not my gripe...

My gripe is idiots like this Kazalis person that try to RP that "corpses can't talk" Well then hell if you can't talk, then why are you so busy fricking wailing, sighing, praying, moaning, and everything else but talking? The fact that yer wailing should at least mean yer not mute. Stupid perhaps, but not mute. At least if you want help, an OOC whisper of sorts to state your RP wishes is not out of line by any means, if it needs to be done it needs to be done.

So....how would you have handled it? I agree that that's fine corpses can't talk, but why be gesturing everything else and not at least send a whisper of sorts letting everyone in on your RP if it's unclear? Or do they just heal/raise and risk getting screamed at later because it wasn't the body's wishes?

I'm a DM from way back and if necessary, we had a way of speaking OOC to have clarity on certain things that may be happening in game. I don't see anything wrong with clarifying your RP to make it easier on the healer/cleric. :: shrugs::

How did he die right after the raise? If he bled to death, that's on the Cleric who raised. I dont care how many Empaths work on a dead person, my Clerics always diagnose full, or at least appraise before raising. Amazing how sometimes they arent as healed as you think. And if he was still bleeding, in my opinion, the Cleric could have asked someone to heal, or tended, if he/she was able to. Before a botched raise ever happenned.
