More saber rattling. So, any thoughts if this lugnut will actually try something? I mean really, they have shelled each other's islands, sunk each other's ships, hell North Korea has managed to kidnap people and smuggle them out for who knows what reason. Seriously, this idiot is even screwier than Idi Amin and he likely has nukes to back it up. And here we thought this dad was coo coo. He even says he is at war with South Korea.

I wonder if his dad actually sat him down and said "Look, son. This is all a sham. North Korea is the world's toilet. Just keep playing this game and you'll have a very comfortable life." Or did his dad brainwash him like every other North Korean and he really thinks they are the world's only superpower.

They saber rattle like twice a year. Anyway, in my opinion it's for the benefit of an internal audience more than any external one. But, if you insist on worrying, worry about misdirection. Something that NK won't be saber rattling about.

Jong Un is the new despot on the block, so he's flexing in an attempt to show he's not a pushover.
He has literally nothing to gain from forcing a war and everything to lose.

Look who his dad was. He seems like a spoiled little brat that never got any real daddy time. The best thing that could happen to him would be for him to have a positive male role model come into his life.

Nothing to worry about, remember China keeps North Korea on a short leash.

Now they just need to find a cargo ship to deliver the nuke. Or a handy weather balloon.

Nice Infographic I found, thought I'd share. Don't know how recent. US numbers look pretty low, I'm sure they have been buffed up in the past few weeks.

They do have ballistic missiles.

Not with reliable intercontinental ranges.

Enough range to still do some serious damage. They may not have a reliable targeting system, too, but again, that's not really a big problem for them. A nuke exploding in orbit is still serious business.

North Korea has observed a moratorium on long-range missile testing since 1999. This severely limits their ability to develop or deploy multiple-stage systems. They do not have operational missiles capable of striking the US with nuclear weapons.
A day may come but it is not today.

That's nice but there missiles can still hit other areas. South Korea, Guam, Japan.
