An important deadline for Election 2048 is fast approaching. Due to the mandate in the U.S. Constitution that American presidents must be at least 35 years old to take office, parents who want their children to be eligible for that election cycle should start trying to conceive now or in the immediate future, generations of accumulated data about fertility and the length of gestation suggest.

Although it is still early, Mitt Romney, with 16 grandchildren, is leading among the patriarchs of America's dynastic political families, in part due to the present childlessness of George P. Bush and Chelsea Clinton, whose presence in articles on this subject is an apparent journalistic convention.

We should also start watching out for foreigners who, anticipating the 2048 election, place fake notices in American newspapers of the births of their children in this country when everybody knows they were really born in Kenya.

Why wait for the newspaper articles? Surveil the uteri of Kenyan women now until the end of time. Just to be sure.

35 years is plenty of time to groom a nearly perfect candidate.

Tho it depends on which party you plan to go with on how you groom them. Also depends if we plan to have any wars after about.. 18-20 years. (A strong military record is always helpful really, tho not needed)

I still say John Conner will be elected President of the World after the Rise of the Machines.
