I was thinking that same thing - he looks...very very aged? Maybe it's just seeing a familiar face after a few years? Kind of like every time I see Morgan Freeman.

The "creepy and weird" thing is that Romney and Gingrich have had possibly the bloodiest political battle that we've seen in the last 20+ years...total smear campaigns on both sides, so to release a "friendly" comment about the two families was a bit unsettling, because everyone knows that it isn't in the least bit meaningful - but hey - that's politics!
