This apparently happened two weeks ago, but I didn't hear about it until this morning.

As many as 100 high school students walked out of a national journalism conference after an anti-bullying speaker began cursing, attacked the Bible and reportedly called those who refused to listen to his rant “pansy assed.”

This is a video of the speech www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao0k9qDsOvs

We ignore what the Bible says about slavery, because the Bible got slavery wrong. Tim -- uh, Sam -- Harris, in A Letter To A Christian Nation, points out that the Bible got the easiest moral question that humanity has ever faced wrong -- slavery. What are the odds that the Bible got something as complicated as human sexuality wrong? One hundred percent.

the above Fox New article points out that Obama is very very very closely associated with the speaker.

I doubt Obama could name the speaker on sight. he was invited to a White House event on bullying.

Also, everything he said was true. :) Good for him.

Apparently he's not only using Sam Harris' material but his "completely bury your message in abrasive, hyper-aggressive delivery" move. Smart.

It was a conference on "The Journalistic Edge." Apparently a bunch of the Christian teens gathered there were not prepared for edginess.

Towleroad covered it in an interesting if blunt slant:

Drudge Report coverage was almost opposite.

Wait.. so this guy was there to talk about how bad bullying gay people is.. and to prove his point, he bullied a bunch of Christians, calling them pansy asses?

Typical liberal. It's only bullying when someone is doing it to a special, protected class.
