With a new poll (http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/story/2012-04-01/swing-states-poll/53930684/1) showing women abandoning Romney based on positions taken by Romney during the primary fight, Romney's campaign manager says it's time to take out the Etch A Sketch on women's issues.

Mitt Romney is running as a conservative now, but in the general, we can expect a flip-flop. It was made clear already by a top Romney campaign adviser saying he will erase his conservative views as with an “Etch-A-Sketch” once the general election comes around, if he is the nominee. Tonight, Romney’s Maryland campaign chair said that women will see Mitt Romney’s “real views” in the general election.

I'll be watching to see if Romney flips on his plan to outlaw abortion, his pledge to get rid of Planned Parenthood, his support of a personhood amendment, or his pledge to get rid of Obama's health insurance "premium parity" for women.

Good one. That's the best one they've done in a while.

...the GOP’s rigid and intolerant image turns off moderate, pro-business women who believe in limited but effective government.

Is that a snake around Romney's neck?

This thread ... reminded me of how badly I want to spore assexually with little mini-me's looking all DBZ cartoon-y when Gokou is fighting a bad guy that does that replication attack where the antagonist breaks into six little versions of itself. Man, I want a new Gremlins movie, man.

Yeah, it's a snake.
