The Republican Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives ordered the state to place a bust of Rush Limbaugh in the state's capitol, along with existing busts of famous Missourians like Omar Bradley, Walt Disney, Harry Truman and Mark Twain. But Democrat Senator Claire McCaskill is having none of it. She has a poll up on her website (http://www.clairemccaskill.com/) asking Missourians to vote on it.

In an interview with KMBC TV McCaskill said, “I really don’t think, in light of what Rush Limbaugh said last week, and what Limbaugh did in terms the criticism he made of Michael J. Fox in 2006–accusing him of acting when he was ill with Parkinson’s–I just think this is probably not the right decision. But I want to hear from everyone else and hear what they think.”

Very nicely done as a liberal masquerading as an indignant conservative.

The finally put Rush's bust up in Missouri yesterday.

To keep Certain People from attending, they kept it secret until less than half an hour before.

I don't think the bust even looks like him.

There are already fears of vandalism.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — The Missouri House has spent more than $1,100 in taxpayer money on a security camera to keep watch over a new bronze bust of conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh, the House clerk said Thursday.

Clerk Adam Crumbliss said he authorized the camera after discussions with Republican legislative leaders because of concerns the sculpture of Limbaugh's head and shoulders might be vandalized.
