It starts tonight at 8:00 eastern.
Unless Romney and Gingrich accept Bob Schieffer's invitation to a one-on-one on his Sunday morning teevee show, this will be the last debate until February 22.
Here's a possible preview from Gingrich on the campaign trail.
"Let's be clear, you're watching ads paid for with the money taken from the people of Florida by companies like Goldman Sachs, recycled back into ads to try to stop you from having a choice in this election," he said, via POLITICO's Ginger Gibson. "That's what this is all about."
He also accused Romney of being partially at fault for home foreclosures in Florida and said he's "surrounded by lobbyists."
"The question you have to ask yourself is, what level of gall does it take to think that we collectively are so stupid that somebody who owns lots of stock in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, somebody who owns lots of stock in a part of Goldman Sachs that was explicitly foreclosing on Floridians, somebody who is surrounded by lobbyists who made a living protecting Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, can then build his entire negative campaign in Florida around a series of ads that are just plain false," he said.

Romney just made a bad mistake on the question about his ad accusing Gingrich of saying Spanish is the language of the ghetto. Romney said he had not heard that ad and does not have time to review all of his ads. But if you listen to the ad, you'll hear Mitt Romney speaking in Spanish at the end of the ad. I'm not sure what he's saying, but I guess he said, "I'm Mitt Romney and I approved this ad."

Official debate summary..
Wolf Blitzer was being hostile toward Gingrich. This was easily Gingrich's worst debate so far. Obama must be gleeful at the increased probability he will be able to run against Romney.
Santorum was the clear winner.
Mitt stumbled badly in addressing Romneycare.

That debate sealed Florida for Romney who did well while Gingrich looked way off his game.

Loved the "You're Fired" moment @ big spending idea.
I liked when Gingrich was saying Romney has stock in Freddie and Fannye and Mitt had to spoon feed him on exactly what his holdings were. Then Mitt turned the tables on Gingrich and advised him that he should pay closer attention to his own portfolio, since he has the same type of funds.
Gingrich looked foolish, which was fun to watch.
Romney will take Florida after these two debates.

GINGRICH: Okay. The governor has cheerfully -- the governor has cheerfully attacking me inaccurately and he knows it. The contracts we released from Freddie Mac said I would do no consulting, wrote in, no -- I mean no lobbying, none. But this is a more interesting story. We began digging in after Monday night because frankly I'd had about enough of this. We discovered to our shock, Governor Romney owns shares of both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Governor Romney made a million dollars off of selling some of that. Governor Romney owns share -- has an investment in Goldman Sachs, which is today foreclosing on Floridians.
So maybe Governor Romney in the spirit of openness should tell us how much money he's made off of how many households that have been foreclosed by his investments? And let's be clear about that.
(APPLAUSE)
ROMNEY: First of all, my investments are not made by me. My investments for the last 10 years have been in a blind trust, managed by a trustee.
More... (http://archives.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1201/26/se.05.html)
Is Romney being honest about the blind trust? Not according to his local newspaper.
On his financial disclosure statement filed last month, Romney reported owning between $250,001 and $500,000 in a mutual fund that invests in debt notes of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, among other government entities. Over the previous year, he had reported earning between $15,001 and $50,000 in interest from those investments.
And unlike most of Romney’s financial holdings, which are held in a blind trust that is overseen by a trustee and not known to Romney, this particular investment was among those that would have been known to Romney.

With what, his record? He did okay in the run up to 2008 because he had no record of anything but that was overlooked because he was young and represented change. Now he has a presidential record that has failed to do what he promised (in many cases) and no one buys into the hope and change anymore.

I'll sum it up in a way you should be familiar with though, the Iraq withdrawal was Bush's fault!

The timetable was already established by 2007 of when the withdraw of forces from Iraq would take place.
And I don't blame Obama for the causes of the recession.. I blame him for doing nothing to turn the economy around during his 3 years.
Stop being stupid.
Here I thought we decided to follow the deadline withdrawl set by Bush was due to the Iraqi Government refusing to grant immunity to our troops stationed there. It was Obama's idea all along? Good to know. Damned news always making shit up....

Do you blame Obama for not passing laws, for the laws he passed, or for not finding a way around the record number of filibusters he's faced?
One thing you can say about Bush apologists. They are consistent in their hypocrisy.
During Bush's term everything that was bad was Clinton's fault and everything good was because of Bush. Now everything bad is Obama's fault and everything good is because of Bush.

I blame Obama for believing we have a revenue problem and not believing we have a spending problem.
I blame Obama for believing that it's Corporate America's fault and not the fault of the government regulations he has passed at a record pace.
I blame Obama for Obamacare.
I blame Obama for believing that Keynesian Economic Theory will somehow work THIS time...
I blame Obama for being the most divisive President in my lifetime.
I blame Obama for being completely inept in any leadership skills.
I blame Obama for the current class warfare tactic.

Do you purposely post really, really stupid posts with no intelligent thought put into them to troll.. or do you just post what you are "thinking" at the time?
I'm glad you asked. I'm my favorite subject to talk about!
It all started back in 1995 when I moved to New York. I found a great apartment on the Upper West Side. It was when GS was on AOL and you did not have to pay by the hour before it went to the web. Clinton was president, money was good, I was single in Manhatten, so were the hot ladies, and the bars were open until 4am.
Honestly my main motive for posting here these days is for the laughs. I feel like a part of the community after having been here for so long. My views have changed over the years. Obviously there was a time when I took it very seriously. The Bush years were very angry years for me both here and in real life for many reasons. Of course I had my "I QUIT!" meltdown then subsequent 6 month ban because Kranar thought I was multi-accounting thanks to your crazy conspiratorial paranoia. He banned me because I created a login/password on the PC that I shared on a site that collected them for pay sites. I created a couple of accounts to do other things like other people do... to sell shit in GS, or to spoof, but never to impersonate. I grew up playing online text games and still reactivate GS from time to time so there is that connection though I have never been one of the popular players nor wanted to. I have my chars that I enjoy playing and have made a few friends. Overall I like the PC even with all the shit I get. Its part of the program. I know my ideas are sometimes radical. Believe it or not I get positive feedback from a decent group of people here. No need to blow them up so they don't get the wraith that I get from the griefers and h8rs. The people who constantly ride me are curious people to me because I don't take this as seriously as they do. But perhaps they don't take it as seriously as I think they do and perhaps they think I take it more seriously then I do.
TOO LONG ; DIDN'T READ
