Hank Williams Jr., the voice famous for asking millions of viewers if they’re ready for some football, has been pulled from tonight’s broadcast of “Monday Night Football” over a comment he made on Fox News this morning.
Williams, who sings the lead-in to the game each week, criticized the president for his golf summit with House Speaker John Boehner this summer.
“It would be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu,” Williams told “Fox & Friends.”
USA Today, among others, picked up the quote, speculating on whether the comparison would get Williams booted from the broadcast.
This afternoon, ESPN released a statement to the affirmative:
“While Hank Williams, Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize that he is closely linked to our company through the open to Monday Night Football. We are extremely disappointed with his comments, and as a result we have decided to pull the open from tonight’s telecast.”

I don't even get the point Williams was trying to make... what an idiot.
He must not have liked being taxed on all that money ESPN was paying him.

I guess he wasn't ready for some football. That campaign was getting stale anyway. Almost as stale as the robot football players doing dances and spiking the ball... booooring.
Another entertainer who was caught with their mouth open and full of stupid.

Kinda funny they'll yank Hank, but they have no problem spotlighting players that have all sorts of legal issues and whatnot. Bullshit move, but no surprise in our too-sensitive world.

“It would be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu,” Williams told “Fox & Friends.”
Was Boehner Hitler or Netanyahu?
I would care alot more if I actually had any desire to hear Hank Williams yell for 5 minutes before every Monday night game.
Was Boehner Hitler or Netanyahu?
lol, this.
ESPN invoked Godwin’s law?

Was Boehner Hitler or Netanyahu?
Judging from the frequency of raising hands (to the crowd) on television, I would say in this scenario, Boehner would be Netanyahu.
But this was a very odd anology for him to attempt to make, there were far better examples out there, or just had substituted (Yasser) Arafat for Hilter if still using Netanyahu as the other.
He should write a song about it.

Maybe ESPN could write an article asking "What if Mike Vick was Hitler?"
If you get a chance, watch the interview. It sounds like Bosephus has not come down off his meth high yet.

Wow that was awesome, you go from all three of them almost ready to bitch slap each other to see who gets to kiss his ass first to all of them being disgusted at the same moment.
I also liked this part
"Obama and Biden are the enemy! The three stooges."
"That's only two."
Or is it? (http://forum.gsplayers.com/showpost.php?p=1341596&postcount=112)
The looks on their faces are classic.

Hank Williams is fighting back with a new song. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iRReHtq_dk)
LYRICS:
I'll keep my freedom
I'll keep my guns
Try to keep my money
And my religion too
Try to keep on workin'
Try to keep on smilin'
I will keep my Christian name and y'all can keep the change
I will keep my heroes
Pictures on the wall
I'll keep my family safe
You bluff when I call
I'm gonna keep my big V8
Keep my friends the same
Keep the government outta my business
And y'all can keep the change
This country sure as hell been goin' down the drain
We know what we need
We know who to blame
United Socialist States of America
How do ya like that name?
I'll keep the USA and y'all can keep the change
So FOX and friends
Wanna put me down
Ask for my opinions
Then twist it all around
Supposed to be talkin' about my father's new CD
Well two can play that "Gotcha' Game" just wait and see
Don't tread on me
This country sure as hell been goin' down the drain
We know what we need
We know who to blame
United Socialist States of America
Don't ya just LOVE that name?
I'll keep the USA and y'all can keep the change
I'll keep the USA and y'all can keep the change
Yeah, you can keep FOX and friends and ESPN outta your homes too
Cuz Bocephus and all his rowdy friends and his song is outta there!

My bad I didn't add this part to the end of the lyrics because I thought it was just words from the youtube user who uploaded the song. Should have known better going by how stupid the rest of the song is.

I thought it was amusing in the sense, that the lyrics seem tea-party-like ("hell no to socialism!"), but he rails against FOX News.
